Pokémon Go

'Hurry up Shauna, there's a Dratini this way! Come on!' Serena said, dragging her friend across the park that they were hunting in.

Shauna had stood stock still, 'Serena! There's a Bulbasaur here, I need to catch it!'

It was the first day that the extremely popular app 'Pokémon Go' had been released. Serena, and her best friend Shauna were hunting together.

'I caught it, have you?' Shauna asked.

Serena was still throwing pokéballs at it, 'No! Get in the pokéball!'

'Here let me try.' Serena passed her phone to Shauna, who did a funny thing by spinning the ball. 'It's called a curve ball, it catches the pokémon easier.' As she said this, the Bulbasaur was caught.

Serena pulled Shauna again. 'Come on! The Dratini will despawn!' They both ran, always glancing at their phones.

'Clemont! How come I can't play Pokémon Go?' Bonnie asked her big brother.

'Because Bonnie,' replied her brother, who was catching a Magnemite. 'You are only eleven. Ash and I are sixteen. Also, you do not have a phone.'

Ash looked down at his phone. 'Clemont! There's a Dratini nearby!' Ash, with Bonnie following him, and Clemont struggling behind, ran to the spot where they thought the Dratini was.

'Ooph! Watch where you are going! It says that on the loading screen, idiot!' Ash had just run into a (rather pretty) girl, with blonde hair.

Ash looked down making sure the Dratini was there. 'Sorry. But you weren't looking either!'

'Yes but –' The girl started.

'Okay, okay. Let's just say you were both to blame. Now, let's just catch this Dratini, Serena!' The brown haired girl interupted.

After the Dratini was caught, the brown haired girl, called Shauna, asked, 'Do you want to hunt together?'

'Oh yeah sure.' Ash said. He looked down, 'Charmander!'

'Where?!' half-yelled Serena. 'I don't have one yet!'

Ash took her hand, and ran with her, 'This way!'

When they arrived, and the Charmander appeared on their screens, Ash was still holding Serena's hand. She coughed, and he let go. Shauna and Bonnie came running, and Clemont came puffing behind.

'Clemont! Can I catch your Charmander for you?' Bonnie begged her brother. He handed her his phone. 'It's so cute!'

'You think every pokémon is cute.' Ash said. Serena giggled. 'You thought Muk was cute.'

There was a silence, as everyone was looking for pokémon to find. 'What team are you on?' Serena asked.

'I'm on Valor, and Clemont's on Mystic. You?'

Serena gestured to herself. 'I'm on the best team, Mystic, and Shauna,' she gestured to Shauna, 'is on Instinct.'

'Which really is the best team.' Shauna added.

'No way!' Everyone else said.

Shauna put her hands up in surrender. 'Okay okay! Maybe it's not the best team. But it does have the er, nicest looking leader?'

'Shauna!'
