Tally Marks

UA when you start to love someone, you get a white tally mark on your wrist. If the love is requited, it turns black. If the two that are in love are soulmates, the tally mark is purple.

It had been a few days since Serena had joined Ash, Clemont and Bonnie on their journey. They were sitting around a campfire in their pajamas, telling each other stories of their previous adventures. Laughing at something Ash had said, Serena felt something on her wrist. A white tally mark.

'Hey Serena, it's your turn to tell a story.' Clemont said. Then noticing her abnormally pale face with very rosy cheeks, 'Are you okay?'

Serena started to stutter. 'Y-yes. I think I-I might go to bed n-now.' She quickly ran to her and Bonnie's tent. Serena sat on her sleeping bag, and examined the tally mark closely.

Her mother had told her that when she truly loved someone, a white tally mark would appear. When the love was returned, it would turn black. She had shown Serena her two tally marks, one white, the other black.

Grace had also told her when the love dies, the tally mark turns into a scar. Serena had noticed the single scar that was on her grandmothers left wrist. Her mother had even told her a rumor; if the tally mark turned purple, the two who loved each other were soulmates, a perfect fit.

Serena knew why that tally mark gleamed white on her wrist. 'I love Ash.' She whispered. 'I have my first tally mark.'

(everything is the same until the last episode, except for Serena trying to see if Ash has a tally mark (he doesn't))

Serena had finally realised her dream of performing for the world. She and Ash were leaving Kalos, Serena to Hoenn, and Ash to Kanto, his home. Serena would miss Ash, Clemont, and Bonnie terribly, but she was excited to travel to a new region.

Dedenne was very upset at the thought of his friends leaving, and had hidden behind a TV screen. Bonnie had started to cry, making tears spring up in Serena's eyes.

After the two had a very sentimental moment, a flight to Hoenn called for passengers to board. Serena pulled out her ticket. That was her flight.

'That's my flight.' she said sadly. They walked to a escalator leading to Serena's gate. Bonnie tackled her into a hug, and buried her face in Serena's stomach. When she let go, Clemont went for a hug as well, but it was briefer than Bonnie's. Finally, it was Ash's turn.

Serena ran and hugged Ash, and dragged him to the front of the escalator. 'Thank you everyone. For helping me grow.' She stepped on the escalator, which took her down. About halfway down, an idea popped into her head. 'But there's something I need to do first.'

She ran back up the escalator. Serena leant into Ash, and, blushing slightly, kissed him on the lips. The escalator dragged her away, but she didn't mind. Her cheeks glowed, and her eyes were confident. 'Thank you!' She turned back around, and felt something move on her wrist.

Serena looked down. The once-white tally mark had turned black. Serena turned again to Ash, who was looking at his wrist in wonder. Then, both of the tally marks glowed lilac. She looked down, and her black tally mark turned a grape purple.

'We're soulmates.'

Heyyo. Okay, I'm sorry if you're not a Amourshipper, but I saw this UA on Pinterest and thought I had to try. I added the purple = soulmates but I thought it was a good idea. I encourage you to do it with your OTP :D
