Chapter Fifteen

In The Car- Wichita, Kansas

12:35 p.m.- September 13, 2019

Going to the Hospital

Emily's P.O.V.

Drew and Roman convinced me to talk. Right now we're heading to the hospital. My c-section is today at one p.m. Jessica, Keaton, Wes and Roman came in town a few days ago. Tonight a few friends in California are coming to town. We got to the hospital about twelve forty. We signed in and a nurse showed me to a room. I changed to the gown and got on the bed. The same nurse came back and put my IV in. Not long after she gave me numbing medicine. Then they took me to the operating room. The surgery was about an hour long.

When I heard her for the first time my eyes started to tear up. Then I looked at Drew and his eyes did the same. The nurse took her then cleaned her and wrapped her in a blanket. She handed Shea to me. Then she took me to my room.

"Is there anyone in the waiting room you want me to get?" the nurse asked.

"No, I'll get them." Drew said then walked out of the room after the nurse.

Drew's P.O.V.

I walked into the waiting room. Jessica, Keaton, Wes, Roman were in there. I walked up to them.

"Does anyone want to meet my baby girl?" I said then everybody got up and followed me into the room.

Emily's P.O.V.

Drew took Shea and let everyone hold her. The last person was Wes. He held her and Keaton made a weird face.

"What's that face for?" I asked

"Well Shea looks a little like Wes." he said

"No she looks like her daddy." I said then Wes brought Shea over to me and when he bent over I took her. As I took her Wes whispered something in my ear.

"We need to talk." he whispered and I nodded my head. Everyone stayed for an hour or so then left. They all went home except Wes.

"Babe, I'm gonna go get Aiden."Drew said

"While your out can you get me something to eat?" I asked

"Yeah, I'll be back in an hour. Love you." he said

"Love you too." I said then Drew left.

"Can we talk now?" Wes asked

"Yeah"

"You know Keaton was right. Shea does look like me."

"That doesn't mean anything."

"It does when you and Drew took a break around the time you got pregnant and that's the time when we..."

"Stop it. Shea isn't yours."

"Are you really sure?"

"Yes since we both used protection."

"Only you did."

"What!!"

"I didn't use anything."

"Get out now!" I yelled then Wes left. About forty minutes later Aiden ran in the room being loud and Drew followed. Then he picked up Aiden.

"What did I tell you about being quiet." Drew said

"I'm sorry"

"Just don't be loud anymore."

"Okay." Aiden said then looked at Shea."Can I hold her?"

"Of course, get up there." Drew said. Aiden held Shea. We had a quiet day. They had Shea and I stay over night at the hospital.

I woke up to my phone ringing. Before I could grab it Drew answered it.
