Sneaking Around(Being Revised)

Chapter Twenty One

London, England

10:30a.m.- October 2, 2019

In the Hospital

Roman's P.O.V.

Drew was about to jump tackle the doctor. If he did Drew would probably kill him. But I got in front of him.

"Who the fuck do you think you are telling me that?" Drew yelled at the doctor behind me. Then Shea woke up crying and Drew tried to get her to stop. I followed the doctor to the hallway.

"How could she have been pregnant?" I questioned, "She just had that baby in there two and half weeks ago."

"I'm not sure. The test had very high averages which means she lost the baby a few days ago. I need to ask..." he paused and looked at the chat then continued, "Mr. Chadwick a few questions but I'll let him calm down first then you can find me at the nurses station." then he walked away and I walked in the room.

Drew was pacing in front of Emily's bed. Shea was laying in Emily's arm sound a sleep.

"Um Drew the doctor needs to ask you a few questions but you don't have to talk to him now."

"Its fine. I'll talk to him now." he said sitting down next to Emily's bed. I went to the nurses station and hot the doctor. We went to the room and Drew was still sitting there.

"I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier, my name is Dr. Karev. I need to ask you a few questions."

"Okay"

"Was your daughter delivered naturally or surgically?"

"Surgically"

"With every mother they are told to wait a certain about of time to have sex, how long was she told?"

"I think it was two months"

"How long did do guys wait?"

"Let's see, Shea was born on a Thursday and I left Wichita on Friday. Emily came to LA on Sunday and the paternity test was Monday. So three and a half days."

"Do you know the reason why women are told not to haave sex for a couple months after having a baby?"

"No, why?"

"Because in the first couple months its extremely easy for women to get pregnant at that time. Which is so dangerous its right next to deadly."

"So you're saying its a good thing she had a miscarriage." Drew said standing up with a pissed off face.

"No, not at all. I just said it would have been better if you waited the two months her doctor said."

"Can you two leave so I can be alone with my family."

"Of course, I'll be in the hall." I said then I walked out after the doctor. Today went by really slow. A few people from work came to see Emily. Drew didn't talk to any of them. But they understood. Around midnight I went back to the hotel and Drew stayed.

Next Morning- Drew's P.O.V.

I didn't sleep at all last night. Different nurses came in every fifteen minutes telling me I should go get rest but I didn't move from my seat. This morning Roman and the rest of the company left to go to Dublin, Ireland. So its just me, wait isn't Wes here. I'm gonna call him.

"Hey Drew."

"Hey, are you still in London?"

"Yeah but I'm heading to the rental car place to return a car."

"Can you come to the hospital?" I asked then heard the car swerve.

"What happened?"

"Emily... she um." that's all I could get out because I choked up and tears rolled down my face.
