Today Emily is at school and my parents are working so I'm alone for the day. I'm not sad about it I mean I love Emily but sometimes I need some me time. I started chemo and I don't feel the greatest so I'll probably just work on some songs and sing a little. And email the employer that offered me the job in Morocco. I'll tell her my story and what's going on, ah I hope she will understand I mean I hope this time the cancer will go away again. I really want to live my dream and go to Morocco with Em and it kills me to think that I might not.

I need to stop thinking negatively and just get back to singing I'm going to sing Lost On You by Lewis Capaldi, I know another song by him I can't help it I love his music.

Someone just opened the door. Oh god I hope it wasn't Emily.

"Hey Mom I couldn't find the chocolate ice cream but they had vanill..... your not my mom."

"No I'm certainly not haha I'm Taylor, taylor Johnson. And who are you and why are you in my room?" I gave a slight giggle

"Oh I'm Colby, Colby Brock. Sorry I didn't mean to come in here, I'm looking for my mom."

"Well hello Colby, and chocolate really? Strawberry is way better. Haha."

"Huhhh I'm more of a vanilla boy myself but I am open to try new things haha. So why are you here?"

"Oh I uh my appendix burst." I know that's not what happened but my appendix did burst.....8 years ago it's just I don't want to tell a random boy I have cancer! I don't need his pity.

"Shit that sucks. I'll see you later Taylor I'm gonna go find my actual mom."

"Bye. Have fun with that."

"Oh also your a good singer."

A random stranger said I'm a good singer wow. He was kinda cute too but I swear I've seen him before. I just can't think of where gosh that's going to annoy me.

Time skip

I'm hungry I guess talking about ice cream earlier made me hungry. I'm walking down the hall right now looking at the rooms I should be in the oncology ward but it was full so they put me in a different ward so that's why he didn't know that I was in here for cancer. They still send the nurses that work in the cancer ward to my room since they know how to do the chemo. Now I'm walking down the oncology ward, it's so sad you know seeing all the rooms. They're mostly young children, to have to go threw this when your like 5 must be so hard.

I got my strawberry ice cream and I see Colby again.

"You know if your mom wants chocolate ice cream so bad she can just get it delivered, they do that."

He turned around when he heard my voice.

"Taylor hey. I actually wasn't getting ice cream I'm getting a burger I'm hungry. But I see you got a ice cream."

"Yea that talk earlier made me want some." I was going to ask him if he wanted to sit but that kind of weird since we just met.

"Hey Can I sit with you, I'd rather not sit alone."

"Yea totally here pull up a seat."

He kinda just stared at me which weird but I looked back and saw his eyes and oh my lord I've never seen eyes so blue it was like an ocean.

"So how long are you here for?" He asked which made me glad cause when an appendix burst it can make you hospitalized for a while depending on how bad.

"Um well it just depends on how bad it is. Why are you here?"

"Oh uh my mom has cancer." I felt really bad but it made me wonder if I should just tell him that I'm here cause of the big C.

"I'm really sorry about that, it must be hard. Are you here everyday?"

"Yea I'm doing online school so I can stay with her."

"That's so sweet. My best friend is here almost everyday."

"That's good."

"I know this is weird but I swear I've seen you somewhere, I just can't think of where." I felt kind of weird saying this but it's been on my mind since I met him earlier.

"Well I make vines with my best friend Sam."

"I've never been on vine so that can't be."

"Then I really don't know, I've never met you I don't think. I would definitely remember if I did."

"Oh I remember now! I was at the mall with my friends and you and a blonde boy ran pass being chased by a security guard!" I said this disregarding the somewhat flirty comment he had just made.

"You were there when that happened. Oh god that's embarrassing, now a cute girl thinks your weird good job Colby." I honestly have no idea if he meant to say that last part but it made me smile.

"So Taylor are you graduating this year?"

"Uh yea I'm supposed to leave for Morocco after grad."

"Morocco! Wow that's awesome. Are you going alone or with uh your boyfriend if you have one." He scratched the back of his head after he said this.

"Oh well my boyfriend was supposed to be going but I guess something happened a while ago he didn't tell me and we well broke up. It's just me and my best friend now."

"Shit that sucks, you guys must have been serious if you were going away together."

"Yea five years actually."

"Shit that really sucks. He's an idiot for whatever happened, rule number 1 never screw things up with a girl like you. Well I'm gonna go find my mom, but I'll come find you later." He got up and smiled then walked away.

He's a really nice guy wow. And was he flirting with me? Probably not we did just meet. And why would a guy like him like me. I guess he doesn't know I have cancer, but still.

Yay!!!! I'm finally at the part where Colby comes in I promise there will be a lot more of him since this is a Colby Brock fanfic haha. I might do the next part in Colby's POV I like reading fanfics with multiple perspectives so I think I'll add that. Anyways I hope you like it!!💗
