I sighed as I tried to figured out what else to add to my essay. I heard the door open and voices, but I didn't budge. Seconds later, annoying Squeak walked into the dining area.

"Still working on that paper?" Alice asked sitting down food

"You know it" I huffed running my hands through my untamed curls

My eyes scanned the room, landing on Bibby. He was occupied by his gold iphone 6s plus. I took my eyes off him and placed them back on my paper.

Maybe I should just leave it as is. My point was valid as is. I'm just probably overthinking it as usual. I shut my Macbook and gather my things, standing to head to my bedroom.

"Well hello to you too" Bibby raspy voice fills the empty hallway, stopping me

"Hi Brandon" I blush with a slight smile

He grins and head back into the dining with Squeak and Alice. Butterflies slowly made their way around my stomach. What was he doing to me?

I plopped down onto my grey Tommy Hilfiger bedspread, kicking off my slippers. The lighting was perfect, meaning a selfie was well deserved. I opened my camera and positioned myself with the right again.

After three photos, I found the one I wanted to post on Instagram. I uploaded my photo, captioning it "Imperfection is Beauty....❤️"

I smiled to myself and slipped off my bed. I heard Alice yelling at Squeak to stop eating her food. A chuckle slipped my lips as she went on. I placed my Macbook onto my desk and shut off my lamp.

I grabbed my phone off my bed, seeing instagram notifications. But one specific comment caught my eye.

Lilbibby: it surely is😍🤤

A grin appeared on my face as I liked his comment. I shut my room door and made my way downstairs, to join them. I saw Bibby hadn't touched his food, he still occupied by that phone.

Explains why he commented on my photo after 3 minutes.

"I got your favorite" Alice smiles going into the kitchen

She came back passing me, my favorite pasta from Roma's. Penne el Vodka with chicken. This girl really knows me like the back of her hand. I sat across from Bibby, noticing that he was now staring at me.

"Does it really have Vodka in it?" Squeak asked staring me down with a goofy face

"Yes.." I chuckle putting my attention onto my beautiful creation of a meal

"Gimme some" Bibby smirked

"Nope" I made sure to pop the P

"Please" He pouted and dragged out the e in please

"Go get a fork Brandon" I rolled my eyes at his childish actions

"I don't have cooties" He scowls at me

"We don't know that" Alice laughs making him glare at her

"Ain't no telling what you done kissed man or went down on" Squeak grills him a little

"Y'all got jokes huh?" Bibby stares them both down "Ion kiss no anything or eat randoms"

I twirled my fork in my pasta, blocking out their conversation. My own thoughts started to pounder my mind. My phone vibrated on the table, getting my attention.

HazelEyes😋: you okay bbygirl?

I glanced up at Bibby, seeing his hazel eyes were piercing my skin.

"So you gon let your boo starve?" Squeak breaks out glare

"Shut up Squeak" I laugh at him as he smirks at Bibby

"Feed me girl" Bibby makes me face him

I placed a nice amount on the fork, feeding it to him. My face flushed as he licked his lips, chewing his food. A slight smirked appeared on his face.

I watched as Mally and Wop played basketball with some other niggas on the court. Herb rolled up with his third new shawty of the week.

Boy got a lil clout and the bitches started coming out. He dabbed me up and pulled shawty onto his lap. I felt my phone vibrate indicating a text.

Bookworm🦋: i'm at the library with Alice😕 -received 2:35pm

Ok? Be dressed by 8 -sent 2:36pm

Bookworm🦋: I'll pass on another one of those kickbacks -received 2:37pm

I huffed and went back to texting others. Herb's chuckle bought my eyes to him, seeing his goofy grin.

"Lil nerd scared to hang with you?" Herb laughs

"Nah man... One of her days" I shrug

"You know she ain't going let you hit" ManMan appeared "Better find one who is"

"Y'all niggas always pussy chasing" I rolled my eyes

"Duh, Look who we are" ManMan laugh

"No Limit . 150 Dream Team" Herbo dabbed ManMan

"All the bitches want us" ManMan dances as Herb grins like a schoolboy

I shake my head at their stupidness. I glanced up seeing Wop and Mally walking over, wiping their face. A couple shawties walked over to us, sparking conversation.

It was around 8:25 and the gang was still at Herb house. We thought it'll be cool to hang with the girls from the park. Shanse storms in the house, slamming the door behind her.

"Don't slam no damn doors in my crib" Herb straight faces her

"Fuck you Herbert" Shanse puts her attentions on me "You ain't shit man! How you stand that girl up?"

"What boa?" I frown my face at her remark "Move around Sha"

"You move around Brandon!" She yells at me, exiting out the room going upstairs

Aliyah eyes fall on me along with the guys. I'm trying to piece together what she was talking bout. Instantly I felt my phone buzz.

Her message left me stuck for a minute. I was so caught up with the boys, I forgot bout our plans. I pushed Aliyah off me and stood to my feet.

"Hell happened?" ManMan asked as I pulled on my jacket

"Don't worry bout that.." I shake him off

"So you just going leave me here by myself?" Aliyah follows me into the hall

"Yeah... You Aigh, Gang got you" Were my last words before I left out the door

My phone dinged again, but this time it was from Squeak and Herb.

I left them both on read and got into my car. I ran my hands over my face, letting out a sigh.
