Year later...

Trinity:

The past year has been challenging, especially with juggling school and living in two different states. That's right you heard it. Bibby and I lived in between Georgia and Chicago. That all was about to change though. I was graduating in a couple of weeks. Meaning we can finally settle in Georgia, focus on planning our wedding and hopefully starting a family.

We haven't really been up for trying pregnancy again. Who would've known that my little angel was growing in the wrong area. It had only been a week since I told everybody and there I was getting he/she terminated the following week. That right there caused my world to crash, but with support of everybody I managed a level head.

I slipped on my timberlands and applied a fresh coat of gloss. My class was starting in bout 45 minutes and I couldn't be late. Alice car horned beeped from outside. I grabbed my things and made my way down the steps, heading out.

"Oou you've gotten thick" Alice smiles as I open the door to her Jeep

"It's them home cooked meals" I laugh, hugging her

Alice and I still remained in touch, even with our busy lives. We really had no option, our niggas were the best of friends. Ariana and Herb were still going strong. Shanse found herself a nice business man and was now happily married. My phone dinged with a message from Bibby.

husband❤️: happy anniversary baby😚 -received 8:06am

It had slipped my mind that today was our 2 year anniversary. I mental cursed myself out and sent George a text about helping me grab him something. Alice parked next to Alex, who was waiting for us. I opened my door, giving him a hug.

"How was New York?" Alex asked as we started our walk to class

"Amazing, I can't believe I'm actually publishing a book" I grin, dropping the bomb on them

"Omg Rini, that's great!" Alice squeals in excitement

I had took New York Times Publishing offer and decided to publish a book. Its based on what I went through over the past two years. I felt like every girl could relate and I wanted them to know they can overcome anything. We made our way to our seats, stopping our conversation as our professor made her presence known.

"It's been a long journey but we made it.." I chuckled as I gave the speech for our graduating class

"Those late night studies sessions and early morning coffees runs, paid off. Today we close one chapter of our lives and start a brand new one... Whether it's starting our careers or pursuing a new degree. Things may get hard along the way but as we learned over time; the storm doesn't last forever. Just pick up the pieces as you go along and you'll be fine.."

"Class of 2017, we can finally say we beat the odds and conquered the barriers. We made our mark here and this is a see you later not a goodbye .. The real question is how we ready act?"

"A fucking fool" Alex blurted out as our peers cheered with him

"Indeed we are" I laugh "Class of '17 please stand.."

Wow, I was really about to a alumni of Loyola University.

"Turn them tassels y'all cause we did that" I say making everybody laugh and cheer

After we were awarded our diplomas, our dean gave us words of encouragement. I glanced over at Alice who was staring at me. She had this childish grin on her face. Between her and Alex, a scene was bout to happen.

Once they released us, I met up with Alice and Alex while we waited for our people to come out.

"We better stay in contact" Alex cuts his eyes at us

"See you in two weeks Alex" I chuckle before he runs along to join his family

Alice and I spotted our people and made I way over. My mom attacked me with a hug, letting her tears fall onto my gown.

"Alright Nik , let us get some love" My dad jokes

I left out a chuckle and hugged him. He placed a kiss on my forehead; just as my grandma begged us to take pictures. Morgan appeared in her uniform with gifts. Tears instantly filled my eyes as she stood there with a smile.

"I thought you wasn't coming" I sniffed

"You thought I would miss this?" Morgan chuckles at my cry baby moment

"I know you ain't crying" I heard George voice

I removed myself from her hold, hugging George. I felt a tap on my shoulder causing me to turn around. There stood Bibby with a banquet of flowers.

"Congrats baby" Bibby smiles as I hugged him

"Thank you" I chuckle as he wipe my tears

"C'mon we got a party to attend" Bibby laughs

Bibby :

Trinity and I had finally moved into our new place in Atlanta. I had signed to a new label. She started at a new practice and was going to be publishing her book in a couple weeks. As for our wedding plans, it was coming along just right.

I was also was going on tour in a few days. My album Free Crack has finally dropped. It took a while but it happened. Thanks to my fans, I was really reaching numbers. Herb had dropped his album too.

Trinity walked through the door, followed by George and Killa. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail and she was dressed in her scrubs. A smile appeared on her face once she saw me.

I could really get used to this. The girl of my dreams coming home to me everyday. Loving one girl for a lifetime.

Trinity really helped me pick up the pieces in my life. She filled a void that I thought couldn't be filled. I was more than thankful for her. Everyday I thanked god for letting me meet her. She was really mine.

"C'mon baby" Trinity chuckles grabbing my attention

I noticed she had already changed her clothes. They were just waiting on me so we can head out. I grabbed Trinity hand as we made our way to the car. I loaded our bags into the trunk and we were on our way to the airport. Trinity checked us in as George and I used the bathroom.

"I couldn't imagine life with you" I murmur kissing her forehead as we sat, waiting for our flight to board

"I'm in it for the long run" Trinity smilies snuggling under
