Chapter One
Ayana awoke to the noise of the reversing truck, and her brother Zachary screaming out her name. "Ayana hurry up! Get up the truck is here."
I could subconsciously hear my brother yelling out my name, but I wasn't looking forward to moving. I wasn't looking forward to leaving my bed let alone ordering the removalists to pack away my belongings. Especially now, I had grown to loving our lovely and warm home in Cronulla. It wasn't really a home, it was more of a
luxiourous estate. It was perfect, perfect in every way. It was a three levelled home comprised with six ensuite bedrooms, two studies and five bathrooms. It has it's own separate powder room off the living room and six balconies to enhance the breathtaking views of the 180• of the city skyline. What more could anyone want?
Nonetheless, it wasn't why I didn't want to move to another suburb. I didn't want to leave the home I had grown up in. The same house my mum had given birth to me in. The house that my two twin brothers Zachary and Eden had been born in. Or the house that I had lived in for seventeen years. This home had a lot of crazy and beautiful memories. Memories I didn't want to loose or forget.
Unfortunately dad needed to move in closer to Sydney Airport. You see his an influential and notorious businessman and is always called to travel abroad. Hence, the reason of us moving somewhat closer to a Suburb called Brighton. I hadn't visited or even wanted to see the home they bought a few weeks back. I think I was in denial for a long time because I didn't want to face reality. The reality of leaving my home or my friends or Cronulla beach.
I could hear Eden's footsteps, walking into my room and quietly knocking on my door. He knew I wasn't to happy about moving, I don't think he was too. "Ayana you need to get up now because the trucks are here to take your belongings" said Eden. I quickly covered my face with the blanket and yelled out that I didn't want to. Eden then informed me that my friends were waiting patiently downstairs to say there goodbyes. I think that's when it really hit me, hit me hard enough that tears started appearing in my eyes. "Fine, ill be down in a minute" I whined whilst jumping out of bed.
"Alberta Alberta." I yelled out while I was brushing my teeth, unsure on whether she could hear me since I was trying to multitask. I decided to rinse my mouth and call out yet again for her. I quickly dressed into black tights and a white singlet top that had the print Lonsdale in black in it. As I searched for my white Tigers, I heard Alberta come in. "Yes my princess, would you like me to fix you breakfast?" She so calmly asked. "No Alberta, I actually want you to meet me at the house so I can get your help in unpacking and fixing my room." Alberta was my babysitter and nanny as long as I could remember. She was a very loving and patient woman. I could say she pretty much raised me into the young woman I am.
Alberta came closer to me and wrapped her warm hands around me. She then whispered "Of course anything for my princess." She could see right through the fake smile I had on my face as I pulled away from her embrace. I was not going to stay camping in my room any longer than I was so I quietly walked down the stairs and into the living room. There were my two crazy yet loving best friends Jasmine and Rebecca.
Jasmine was a very charismatic and cheeky character. Who knew just how gorgeous she was, she had the surfer body with blonde wavy hair. I had always told her that her eyes are as blue as the see on how much she loved the water. Rebecca was quite tall but nonetheless gorgeous. She is just a humble and caring friend. Rebecca inherited her fathers brown eyes but her mothers Greek skin. She was just a Greek Goddess with her long brown hair.
As I got into the living room both Jasmine and Rebecca came running towards to me and wrapped their arms around me. "Girls I'm only moving 20 minutes away. Relax! It's not like I won't be seeing you at school." I only said that to make it easier on all three of us because I knew if I didn't we would all be sobbing. "I know, I know but this house shares way to many crazy memories" said Rebecca. "Don't worry will make new ones in your new home," said Jasmine. "Speaking of my new home girls, I have yet to see it would you like to come for a drive?" I pleaded. "Yell yeah, let's go," screeched Rebecca.
