I was having the call with my friend who also reads my books, and she said something so hilarious and amazing!
Basically here's what went down:
Girl- So remember how Quill was really really shattered about finding out about Pat dieing.
Me- Yeah but he didn't really die.
G- mmhm. So why were Quill and Bill specifically shattered.
Me- *faceplam* Well Bill is Pat's brother and Quill considered Pat his only real friend. Remember? This was explained? We read that chapter so many times because you didn't understand?
G- Oh LOL. I thought it was because as a kid Quill had a crush on Pat or something.
Me- 0-0 wat?
G- They seemed really close. Like how Pat was specifically hugging Quill in the picture.
Me- ... (*Thoughts* That's because Quill didn't want to do it and Pat forces him)
G- like what if Quill never admitted it because Pat always confided in him about Ariel.
Me-... Freaking heck
SO I GUESS THAT'S A THING
QUILL LIKES BOTH GENDERS
HE LIKED PAT AS A KID
NOW HE LIKES SUMMER
SO
UM
WAT?
So I have a challenge for you guys, yes the commenters/readers.
I dare all of you, to make a small paragraph or more about Quill (as a kid) having a crush on Pat, or fanart, or both of you really want to.
