Third person

Tsuyu was your average student. Smart, observant, curious and kind. To sum herself up in a few words.
Tokoyami. Smart, quiet, mysterious and observant. They were alike. In more ways than one.

Tsuyu point of view

It's lunch right now. This is usually when I'd go sit with the girls by the window, but I noticed it was raining outside. I love the rain. Not because I'm a frog but because the sound of raindrops hitting the ground felt peaceful.
I grabbed my umbrella and skipped outside to a bench. It was wet but I didn't mind. I sighed at the smell of the air. I loved it so much. It holds memories of how I met him. Never did I imagine to find such a cute treasure.

Flashback
It's raining outside. I always bring my unbrella so I don't catch a cold. After all I have my siblings to worry about. I was on my way to the park where no people would be. But to my surprise there was someone. A boy who was sitting on the swing set, crying. He was just sitting there. "You're going to catch a cold." I said as I approach him. I held my unbrella over him and smiled. "My name is Asui Tsuyu. Call me Tsu Chan." He just stared confused for a moment but told me his name. "I am Tokoyami Fumikage. Thank you." "I will call you Toko kun then!" We talked for a long time, after that we'd meet every time it rained here. Until one day he didn't come. Or the next day. And the day after that.

End of flashback

I didn't notice until I felt my face warm and wet. I had been crying hot tears. I quickly wiped them. 'Tokoyami why didn't you come, why won't you talk to me?' That was something I asked a lot. We were in the same class for about two  weeks now here at U.A. but he won't  talk to me. It's been seven years since that day. Seven years since I thought I lost him. I heard foot steps coming from behind me. I stayed calm and slowly turned around it was him.  I dropped my umbrella exposing myself to the rain. It was Tokoyami.

Tokoyami point of view

It's raining. I love the rain but it brings up painful memories. I had been sitting under a tree slightly protecting me from the rain. 'I always forget my umbrella'
I sat in the rain eating my food until I heard light sobs. Being a hero in training I started to walk over. The sobs stopped as soon as I was directly behind the source. It was a girl. It was Tsuyu.

I never saw Tsuyu cry. I never gave her a chance to cry because it was always me she had been comforting. She slowly turned around and her eyes were red. The same blank yet cheerful expression wasn't there. It was a frown. "Tokoyami." She said in a whisper. 'my poor Tsu. What happened?'  More tears started to flow from her face seeing me. I wanted to hug her and never leave her again, but every since the accident with Dark Shadow. He really liked Tsuyu I know this, but what if my emotions get the better of me what then! I sighed at the thought. 'my poor Tsu what happened to us?' My body seemed to move on it's own because I was now hugging Tsu. She clenched onto my shirt and just cried. What could I do besides be here for her. "Why Toko kun? Why did you leave me?" She said burying her face into my chest. I couldn't answer her question. I didn't have the heart to give such a lame excuse. The sound of the warning bell went off. She looked into my eyes and had calmed down. "Don't leave me please." She said softly. "I won't ever leave you. Not again." We started to walk to our class, drenched in rain and tears. When we got there our classmates just stared.

"What happened to you two?!" Uraraka asked. "Why are you guys soaking wet?" Jiro chimed in. I didn't know how to answer their questions. "The rain is why we're wet. I lost my umbrella. Uraraka San do you have a spare uniform?" Tsuyu was so calm. The reassured me. I sat down in my seat and just stared out the window at the rain. I could see where Tsuyu left her umbrella from here. 'heh' Tsuyu came back in Urarakas spare uniform. It was a bit big on her, but she didn't seem to care. She looked at me and smiled, then went to sit in her seat. The class room filled with the rest of the students and the bell finally rang. "Every one take your seats!" Iida stated. "Everyone is in their seat. You're the only one up!" Kirishima said with others following. Iida sat down and Aizawa sensei unzipped his yellow caterpillar bag and resumed class.

I glanced over at Tsu. 'Never again Tsu. Never again will I leave you.' Here question echoed in my head over and over. I will protect her. I won't loose her.
