*John's POV*
I knock on Laf and Hercs door. There's no answer, so I walk in. I slap my hand over my mouth to keep from yelling. Oh no. I'm scarred for life. No, life is to short. I'm scarred for eternity. Hercules and Lafayette are making out on the couch.
"Uh, guys?" I quietly say. They obviously don't hear me because they keep making out. Laf starts taking Hercs shirt, and I'm too mortified to speak, so I nope outta there. I run into mine and Alex's dorm, gasping for air and laughing.
"What?" Alex says, looking up from his computer. He's sitting cross-legged, and has his hair in a messy ponytail, he's wearing a green sweater, which looks familiar, but whatever. He's also wearing grey sweatpants. Holy crap he's so cute."John?" He says, standing in front of me.
"Sorry, I zoned out." I apologize. I grab his hand, and lead him towards Lafayette and Hercules' dorm. I quietly push open the door, but I don't look, I'm not being scarred again.
"I knew it!" Alex yells. I look up. Hercules screams, and jumps up. Laf turns to look, and falls off the couch. They're both shirtless, and Laf grabs a blanket to cover their chest, as if they were a girl. Alex laughs.
"I knew it!" He shouts, still laughing. Laf turns red. Alex pulls out his phone.
"Mon ami, what a-HEY!" Laf tells as Alex takes a picture. Alex runs off. Hercules throws on his shirt, and runs after him. Damn Herc's fast. Laf looks up at me, then pushes themself off the ground. They put on a shirt, and walk over to me.
"Please don't tell anyone... the reason we haven't told you, Alex, Eliza, Angelica, and Peggy, is because we're just not ready. And, it was pretty funny." They whisper. I put a hand on their shoulder.
"Of course I won't tell anyone! And Alex is just teasing, he won't tell." I say, not taking my hand off their shoulder. They smile at me, and suddenly hugs me. I realize they're crying.
"Laf... what's wrong?" I ask. They pulls away, and put on an obviously fake smile.
"N-Nothing, mon ami!"
"Laf. Cmon. What's wrong?"
They stays silent for a few moments, then starts crying. I put a hand on their shoulder again, lead them into the dorm, and close the door behind us. I lead them over to the couch and we sit down.
"I-I'm just so so sc-scared bec-ause I-I can't tell m-y p-p-parents or they w-will..." they trail off. I rub their back.
"What will they do?" I ask.
"I-I don't know. Th-ey a-are very... 'ow you say... against gay p-people?"
"They're homophobic?"
"O-Oui. Th-they can't e-even know that I-I'm n-non binary." (I'm sorry if I spelt that wrong, I'm half asleep)
"Ah... Laf, I'm so sorry. My dad is homophobic as well."
I pull him into a side hug.
"I love you, you're one of my closest friends, Laf. You you ever need anything, I'm here. And I'm sure Hercules, Alex, Eliza, Angelica, and Peggy are too."
"Same goes for you, mon ami."
We pull away from the hug, and Lafayette wipes away their tears.Ayoooooo that's just a filler chapter lol. Sorry this is so crappy, I'm actually half asleep right now.
Peace out,
Shay
