Restricted II H.S

Chapter 4

"How do you play?" She asks hesitantly. My jaw practically drops to the floor; I can't believe she has never heard of flip, sip or strip. By the looks of things everybody else can't believe it either.

Slowly and awkwardly she brings her right hand up to her hair and shyly tucks a strand of hair behind her ear. Here we go again with this whole innocent act, she is actually innocent though.

Ash lets out a deep chuckle from across the circle. I would laugh but I am honestly too shocked. What else would I expect from her though?

Ash has fallen into a fit of laughter, seemingly in his own world while the rest of us stare at Sophie in shock.

"Have you honestly never played" Elissa asks sweetly, but I can see behind the façade she is wearing that she wants to join Ash and laugh her ass off.

Sophie shakes her head awkwardly. "Wow" I say in disbelief and puff out a breath of air from my lunges while leaning into the coach more.

Through the dim lighting I can see that Sophie's cheeks have been stained a bright red, and I know that it's not from the heat in the room.

"Well" Elissa starts to tell Sophie. "Basically, You flip a coin" she raises her eyebrows as if to check that Sophie is following what she is saying, as if she is stupid or something.

"While the coin is in the air call heads or tails. If you guessed right, pass the coin to your right, if you guessed wrong pass the coin to your left." Elissa exhales loudly.

Nate butts in "Then you have to either take a piece of clothing off or take a shot, or in this case a large gulp of whatever drink we can find around." he rushes.

Voices are heard everywhere in the circle as if they are bouncing off each other.

My head then darts to Ash who is now speaking and has seemed to have calmed down from his laughing fit. "If you guessed right you can flip again if you want, if you guessed it a second time then you can pass it to anyone in the group that you like, but if you get it wrong then you either have to take another piece of clothing off or another gulp of a drink" He speaks very quickly. I couldn't process his words properly because of the alcohol in my system and the fast pace of his words.

"What about, new rules" I slur. I want to make this normal drinking game more interesting. Especially now that we have some new meat.

"She is new to the game, we should just play normally tonight" Elissa chirps in.

I roll my eyes and make sure to give Sophie a long stare before turning my gase towards Ash who holds a coin in his hand.

"You playing?" Ash calls out to Sophie from across the circle once again. Her face is twisted with confusion while she is thinking. Silently she then gives a small nod of her head that I can barely see in the state that I am in.

Ash flicks the coin from his forefinger and thumb, sending it swirling into the air in a circle like motion before calling out loudly "tails" and flattening his palm against the rusted coin on the rough, grey carpet.

The face that is pointing upwards into view is heads. Ash doesn't seem fazed by it though and grabs the bottle of liquor that was once in my hand from the middle of the circle. Tilting his head back he holds the bottle by its neck and gulps it down, not seeming to come up for a breath.

When Ash leans his head back down his eyes are slightly red and are much wider. I can imagine how good it must have felt to have gulped down that amount of alcohol without having to stop.

Me, Jade, Elissa and Nate all cheer and scream loudly for him. Cheering him for that great achievement.

Flicking his tongue over his top lip, Ash collects the remanding alcohol that rimes his mouth and passes the coin on to Nate who is sitting to the left of him.
