Chapter: 9 || The mistletoe||

Corans POV
"Princess look what Lance showed me this weird plant that makes people kiss eachother!" I said to the princess. "Coran What is it called?" The princess said. "A mistletoe " I said. "Sounds lovely. Do we hang it up somewhere?" She asked. "Yes I think.....Do you want me to hang it up if we can?" I asked. "Sure." She said "ok!" I said and walked away to hang it up.

Keith's POV
" you told Coran what a mistletoe was?!" I said to Lance. "Yup and he said he was gonna hang it" Lance said.
Y/N walked into the room
"Yo why is there a mistletoe and where did it come from?" Y/N asked. "Lance told Coran what it was and Coran hung it up." I said. She blushes a bit. "Oh. Wait is it Christmas time?!" She asked excited. "No it's not" Shiro said coming into the room. "No kissing each other." Shiro said looking at me and Y/N. "Bro chill." Lance said. Shiro face palmed. "I'm so done." Shiro said and walked out of the room.

Y/N POV
"Coooootttiiiieeeessss" I said. Keith chuckled "agreed" Keith said. "You two are definitely gonna kiss" Lance Said. I blushed and so did Keith. "You two blush waaayyyyyy to easy" Lance said and walked away. "Haha you know what I gotta make a- um, Mother's Day card for umm... Shiro yea so um bye!" I said and sort of speed walked away.

Keith's POV
"Haha you know what I gotta make a- um, Mother's Day card for umm... Shiro yea so um bye!" Y/N POV and speed walked away.
"Mother's Day card? For Shiro?" I asked myself. Is Shiro a mother? Is it even Mother's Day? I'm so confused on what this girl is thinking. Wait was that an excuse to go?! I think it was! That was interesting tho. A Mother's Day card for Shiro. I'm gonna have to tell him this.

Pidges POV
I walked into the kitchen and I saw Y/N sitting down. "Yo why are you blushing so hard?" I asked. "Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmm well So you know how there's a mistletoe?" She asked pointing at the mistletoe "Yeah? Wait no I didn't!" I said. "Well Lance said that me and Keith were gonna definitely kiss and then I told Keith that I needed to make a Mother's Day card for Shiro and I then ran off" She said blushing even more. I face palmed. "Honey no." I said. " Choo Choo" Y/N said. "What the quiznack" I said. She stuck her tongue out at me and just chuckled. "You weirdo" I said chuckling. "I know I am" She said with a smile.

*Ts to a hour later*

Keith's POV
Me and Y/N were talking in the door frame of the kitchen until Lance showed up. "Heyyyyyyyyyyyy y'all need to kiss now" Lance said. "Um why?" I asked. Y/N pointed up at the ceiling I looked up and saw the mistletoe. And Shiro walked into the room. "What are you two doing?!" Shiro says in a motherly tone. "Um-huh-um making your Mother's Day card." Y/N said. "First I'm not a mother and Second it's not Mother's Day" Shiro said. "Well I meant to say, I was making um um um I don't know" Y/N said. I face palmed. "I'm still confused why Allura even let Coran put up the mistletoe, where did he even get it?!" Shiro asked. " I don't know but all I know is that Keith and Y/N need to kiss" Lance said. "LANCE!!!" Shiro said. "Or nah" Lance said. "Someone call?" Allura said walking into the room. "Why did you let Coran put up the mistletoe?" I asked. "I thought it would be a nice decoration" Allura Said. I crossed my arms a bit. "Why is there a problem? Because I can take it down if you want me too." The princess said. "Yes please. Take it down" I said. "Nooooooo keep it up please." Lance said. "No Lance we are taking it down" I said. "Your no fun" He said. So with the help of Shiro Allura took down the mistletoe.

Keith's POV
I wanted to kiss Y/N I mean I've almost gotten to kiss her like what two times already! Ugh, you know what I'm just gonna go up to her and kiss her, no that's something a pervert would do. I'll just go up to her and ask her if I can, i just don't want her to hit me if I ask. I started walking back to my room when I saw Y/N in her bedroom just sitting there drawing on her arm I think she was drawing on her arm. Her door was open so I could see what she was doing. I opened the door and knocked. "Knock Knock." I said. "Oh hello" She said. "So you done making that Mother's Day card now?" I asked teasing her. "Yeah totally Shiro's gonna love it." She said smiling. I couldn't help but smile I think it was because her smile is so beautiful it makes you want to smile. "I like when you smile. It looks good on you" She said. "Thanks, you look good when you smile too." I told her. "So um, did you want something?" She asked. "Oh um Yeah I was um......you know what never mind I forgot." I said. She raised an eyebrow with suspicion. "You forgot?" She asked. "Yeah I um forgot but if I remember it I'll tell you." I said. She had a smirk on her face. "Did you forget? Or do you just not want to tell me?" She asked with a smirk on her face. "No I forgot." I said lying, I just feel to embarrassed to ask her, just what if she rejects me then it would be awkward around me and her and I don't want that because I think we are good friends. Does she think I'm a good friend? "Oh I remember now I just wanted to say, Goodnight" I said. "Keith" She said standing up in front of me and looking up at me. "Its the afternoon, I think you might need some rest from all that training" She said. "No I knew that it was the afternoon. Did I say goodnight? I mean Good afternoon!" I said kind of fast and turning a bit red after. "Ok whatever you say" She said. I didn't know how to end the conversation so I just kind of did finger guns to her and awkwardly walked out of her room. "Keith!" She said walking over to me. "Um yes?" I asked. "This is for the mistletoe" She said and then kissed me on the cheek quickly and walked back into her room and shut the door. I put my hand up in my cheek she kissed and blushed. She actually kissed me. Wow that's awesome I'm at lost for words. I know it was just on the cheek but it's an upgrade from hugs. I think. I just walked back into my room and starred up at the ceiling for a while.
