Part 3 Fall Nights

Sometimes I feel like I need to get away, away from everything away from my brothers, away from my parents away from everything. most nights when I need to get away I grab 20$ and my phone and I venture into the streets of my small town. I don't always come back until the next day but when I do shit like that I leave my bag at school and pack a lunch for the next day and just catch a bus to school. But today I was sure what I was gonna do it was only 9:30 meaning the night was still young.

I decided to text one of my friends Evie from school. She lived alone so when I pulled "the Jess" as my family would call it, I stay with her for the night and we have a night on the town. I started off at a convenience store and bought a pack of cigarettes to split with Evie I also brought my trusty lighter so I didn't need to buy one. No one in my family knows I smoke Its something I only ever do is to look cool or when I'm nervous. 

But today I wasn't sure how I was feeling so I shoved the pack into the pockets of my leather jacket. and decided to wait and see what Evie wanted to do. She responded around 10:00 saying the usual place? and I headed for an old abandoned park not too far away from my house. Me, Austin and Alex used to play there all the time as kids but then it started to get old so the town built a new one and most people forgot about it.

I sat on an old bench and lit up a cigarette I took a couple of puffs and blows before I heard someone behind me say, "Hey!, Save some for me!" It was Evie joking around. She hopped over the bench and sat down behind me. Evie was my cousin but we mostly thought of each other as sisters. My aunt and uncle have a lot of money so they bought Evie her own small house a few blocks over from us when she turned 16, So we are really close.

Something I love about her is shes always been like an older sister to me. Shes just like me, A rebel at heart. She always likes to bother the crap out of my brothers especially Austin shes a month younger than him so when we were younger they were best friends then Austin started getting girlfriends and they always got jealous of her and his relationship. So him being him stupid self-stopped hanging out with Evie and pushed her away for girls. 

His relationships with those dumb hoes never lasted long. A lot of em either cheated on him or used him for popularity which is sad that he ruined his relationship with his best friend/cousin over some dumb hoes that didn't even care about him. Then Evie said disturbing my train of thought, "So whats the plan for tonight?"  "I'm Not sure It's up to you," I said. "How about we go to a bar!?" She said with a bit too much excitement. "I'm not sure I don't have my fave ID yet''. I said with disappointment. "Don't worry I know a guy, Lets gooo!" She said strolling off into the night.

This was gonna be a long night.....
