An Unexpected Emergency

[Running Man Filming]

[JAE SUK's POV]

I was worried. For the past two weeks, Haha had been avoiding our messages and avoided us outside of filming. How is he? Is he still talking to Byul? They were so close, I hope they still are.

/Filming for running man/

Today we weren't going to have any guest, instead, we were going to do a relay in the MBC building.

Wow. There were skipping ropes, gymnastic blocks etc. Were we supposed to do some sport?

The first challenge was to do a couple skip rope 50 times. Omg! We did this before! I wasn't too bad at it, Haha was good at this too and so was Gary.

"We should make sure those two jumping have similar heights. Haha and jihyo?" Jong Kook suddenly suggests.

We all agreed and the two of them take their positions with Haha holding the skipping rope and Jihyo holding Haha's arms.

"Yah Jihyo! Don't falter okay! It's Tuesday, not Monday but Gary is still here!" Suk Jin hyung teases.

"One! Two! Three!.... Sixteen! Seventeen!" We all counted in unison. Suddenly we heard Haha scream "AH!!!!" and he collapsed to the floor.

We all rushed over and I told the camera directors to stop filming.

[HAHA'S POV]

Oh wow. Had we to do skipping? I know I'm good at it but my back still hurts. There again, everyone must be tired as well so I shouldn't give myself an excuse to give my best for filming.

Suddenly I feel an extremely sharp pain in my spine and I just black out.

[JONG KOOK's POV]

We all panicked when we saw Haha collapse. We were prepared for injuries but this was extreme.

"Call an ambulance!!!" I shouted. This wasn't a time to be too panicky, so we tried to be as calm as possible.

"I'll call Byul." I hear Jae Suk hyung say. I nodded and said that was a good idea.

Soon the ambulance arrived and Jae Suk offered to follow in the vehicle while I drive the rest of the members to the hospital to meet them. Byul said she would meet us at the hospital directly.

Aiyo my dongsaeng ah... Please hang in there!!! You're strong!

[BYUL's POV]

Jae Suk oppa is calling me? But aren't they having running man filming now? Or did something happen? My stomach flipped in anxiety.

"Yes oppa? WHAT?! OK OK IM COMING RIGHT NOW!!!"

HAHA OPPA COLLAPSED AND IS BEING RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL NOW!!?! OMG

"Haha oppa yah! What happened to you?" I cried out in the car. I was so afraid that something bad would happen to him.

/Byul arrived at the hospital/

"Oh Byul you're here. Just in time, the doctor needs us to decide to carry on with surgery or to not. Since you're closest to him, could you decide for him?" Jae Suk asks me.

I was in a dilemma. If I were to be selfish, I wouldn't let the doctor carry on with surgery especially with what happened to my father. But Haha oppa seemed to really be in pain, I couldn't just let him continue to suffer.

"Sir please carry on with the surgery. But please be careful." I say quietly, keeping my head low, hoping that no one would see me crying. But I guess people saw.
