It was only the next day that Kaylub found himself in the park with the one and only Black-Star. The two agreed to meet in private and alone so that Black-Star's ego wouldn't get busted due to getting beat by Kaylub repetitively...which is what happened. "Damn it! Why can't I even get close to you?" Black-Star snapped as he was on the ground bleeding from wounds from the threads.

"It's because you're not quiet. You rustle the leaves around you and then you make an entrance which gives you away for the attack." Kaylub said simply as his hands were still in his pockets and he was standing on a branch.

"Or maybe because you keep using your strings to shield yourself." Kaylub sighed as the strings around him vanished. He jumped down from the tree and stood in front of him.

"Hit me with your best shot. I won't dodge." He said with a blank expression. Black-Star looked up at him before smirking and Kaylub watched as Black-Star charged up his attack. Then Black-Star punched him in the gut sending him flying backwards where Kaylub spun and slid back to his feet. He coughed up a bit of blood then smiled. "Now that was an attack." He said excitement shining in his eyes.

"Yahoo! I know right and only the great me could have done that." He said laughing to himself.

"Well, let's see if we can keep up this momentum." Kaylub said charging towards Black-Star without using any weapon including his strings he danced around Black-Star as the two began to exchange attacks. Kaylub skillfully dodged as well as delivered blows to Black-star who was also dodging.

After a few rounds, both assassins rested against trees. "Now, that was better then when we started right?" Kaylub said as he was wrapping his bleeding arm in bandages that he had on him.

"You bet. I got to hit you more then you hit me." Black-Star said as Kaylub rolled his eyes.

"You still have a long way to go before you can battle me at my best, but this is a start." Kaylub said as Black-Star laughed going on and on about how he beat the great shadow blade up. Kaylub rolled his eyes and left quietly without the meister with the largest ego could notice.

He was walking alone down a alleyway, as the sun was setting, when he heard the ever familiar sound of being surrounded. In an instant he had his threads up, but he wasn't going to attack...yet. "Can't believe you dared to show yourself again after the last time you damn weapon." The main thug said as he just rolled his eyes his hands already in the pockets of his trench. "Nothing to say? Well soon you'll never say anything ever again." The thugs charged at Kaylub, who remained calm as they all just ran into the threads causing them to be cut up and not even lay a finger on him. His mismatch eyes shined as he looked down at the leader.

"This will be the last time we meet, but don't worry I'm not going to kill you...next time you might not get so lucky." Kaylub walked around the groaning bleeding people and made his way home.

Unknown to Kaylub that someone was watching and smiled creepily after seeing the battle.

He arrived back at Maka and Souls home as dinner was being served. "Not hungry." Kaylub said as he slipped into his room and crashed on the bed despite the hunger gnawing at his stomach. He ignored the feeling and fell asleep quickly.
