Sirens.

The Sirens rang so loudly. My heart started to beat with the same rhythm after awhile. My feet moved through the air swiftly. "Shut it down!" I heard. The lights started to go off. I ran until my feet had an ache. Men in black jackets came out and surrounded me. My eyes dropped to the ground. The thoughts flew through my head. Everything they have ever done to my family. My head snapped up and my eyes opened. " You killed my father. You drove away my mother. You killed me. You ruined a family. love...And you will pay." I said slow and clear. "AHHHH" I screamed in rage. Something in me gave me a rush of energy. I yelled so loudly that everyone flew back like a baby bird in a storm. *Dom * Dom *Dom my heart went as I calmed down.

Death. Everywhere.

I killed all these people. My legs cut through the air as I ran out of the government building. Am I any better than the people who killed my father? " You can't just do bad things for good reasons" I Yelled at my self. Yesterday I wouldn't have hurt a fly... today I killed 50 Black jacket men. The part that scares me is that I don't feel remorse. I wouldn't have second guessed it. I feel happy, relieved even that I ended a mans life. who have I become?

I ran and I ran.

It feels like I had been running all day but it also feels like I haven't gotten anywhere. "Find your mom. Shes in danger" I heard deep in my soul. Soul...Funny when I hear it. I stopped to try to see if what I heard was real. "FInd her" I heard. My mother...The last time I saw her was when I was Six years old. The night after the government came to my house to recruit my dad.

I peered into the living room with sleepy red eyes. My mom was upset. I could tell from all the yelling and the waving of her hands.

"I can't do this Ode. You are killing us." She Cried.

"Listen, Vivian, I won't let that happen to you or violet." He tried to reassure her.

"She is my only daughter. If you want to kill yourself that's fine, but not her. " She said.

"You don't think I know that!" He Yelled, "I love her just as much as you." My dad said.

"Then don't sign the papers" She said calmly.

"...I already did. It's being processed." He said regretfully.

I saw my mom start to weep. My dad put his warm hand on my mom's shoulder. She pushed it away.

"I'm leaving, I can't watch my beautiful daughter and her idiot father die." She said as she started to walk away.

My feet cut the air as I ran back into my darkroom and jumped into my bed. I closed my eyes shut as if they had been that way from the beginning. My mom entered my room. I could see her beautiful brown hair from the light the shinned in the hallway. She knelt down beside my bed. She slowly moved her hand and moved the hair from my face. I slowly opened my eyes as if I had been asleep and now waking up to see my mom in surprise.

"Honey, Mommy has to leave. Mommy and Daddy are....Were have to be away from each other for a while" She said with tears in her eyes.

"Mommy, please don't go. You can stay." I said pleading

"No, Mommy has to go" the tears were started to fall, "but we will see each other again. In...another time maybe." She said.

My mom laid on my bed and we looked up at the stars my dad had painted on my ceiling. My mom lifted her hand and pointed at the biggest star.

"You see that star right there. That's where I will be. You can always find me. You can always count on me. " She said softly.

My eyes drifted away into my mother's arms. I woke up the next morning and she was gone like summer when the fall comes.

It was now night time and I could see the beautiful stars in the sky. I had no direction. I looked up at the sky and I saw the brightest star. I walked towards it. I kept on walking with my eyes looked on it. I was going to find my mom.
