The sun was begging to lift its arms the stars went to rest its sparkling gleam. There was no more stars insight and I was lost. I kept on walking in hopes of finding something that could help me. *Ring * Ring the wind screamed as I walked across a small little village. Little children ran to me asking if I wanted to buy roses. I shook my head in a continuous movement. This village was greener than anything I had ever seen. The grass sparkled, the flowers danced, the sky sung tunes of happiness and as I walked down the street. I turned my head to the left and there she was. My mother. She was running around playing with a child that looked just like her. A man in a blue shirt came out and gave her a kiss of affection.
Had she forgotten about us?
Me and Dad?
She left one night now she lives in peace with another family. I opened the door I saw the man come out of. My feet lightly stumped into the wooden house. Along the mantle was photos of a little girl. She was beautiful...She just was not me. I held the photo in my hand. "Who are you? Why are you in my house?" A man with a deep voice said. My mother slowly walked in when she head the problem. I slowly turned around with picture still in my hand. My mom put her hand to her mouth and gasped. "It's you. Violet. Your alive" She rushed over to me and wrapped me in her arms.
"How did you get here?" She said.
"I followed the brightest star like you told me." I said.
"Oh honey, Wheres your Father" She said as if she cared.
"He's dead." I said.
"I'm sorry." She said trying to find the words, " We can have some tea and talk more come along.
She directed me to her living from. Her village was small but her house was much fuller than the one I left back home. I sat on the sofa as their daughter ran through the house smiling. I started to think what it would be like to have a mom.
I was envious of her.
My mom walked back over with a kettle of tea and a few cookies. My hand moved quickly as lightning as I took a cookie and started to eat it.
"So tell me everything." She said.
" They killed Dad. They killed me. Now they're coming for you." I said calmly.
"Wait, What are you talking about, They killed you? ...Coming for me" She said confused.
"The moment you left dad started to create a new body for me. So that after I was terminated I could live on forever. " I looked down at my arm, " This is it"
"This sounds absurd. He did this to you. I'm so sorry I should have taken you with me. " She said.
"My Father was a wonderful Dad. He was always there me even in the bad."
"I'm sorry I did what I thought was right and maybe it wasn't but at the time..." I cut her off before she could get a word out.
"A the time...I needed you more. A girl needs her mother. Did you even think about us? You just left and we were so scared... both of us. You made a new family and forgot about me. " I spoke with anger.
" No, Sweety I thought about you every day and I never forgot. You are my first love. I will never stop loving you" she said with passion.
I sat there in silence.
"You're in danger. The government is going to come and if you don't tell them what they want to know you and your family will die. " I said with a cold heart.
" What do they want to know?" She said
"They want to know where my father is. " I said
"You just said they killed them." She said
" They tried to kill him but he's still alive, I believe living in a new body. You and your family have to leave now.
"AHHHHH" As I sat on the sofa I heard the scream of a little girl. "Annalisa" My mom yelled in terror as she ran outside. My legs cut through the air as I sprinted outside. Black cars and black jackets stood before me. "Let her go" I yelled. Their guns were all pointed at me. A man held my mom's prize possession. "If you come any closer we will fire." someone yelled at me.
I felt anger.
"Violet, stop walking, please, come back." My mom said.
"Let her go, I demand you." I yelled, "You can't just take things that are not yours. Separate the good and bring together the bad. Kill the innocent and harbor the oppressors. "Let her go. " I yelled at the top of my lungs. In that moment all of the guns crushed.
"Leave the girl retreat!" A man in the black jackets yelled.
The little girl ran back to my mom. "Honey are you okay?"
They were happy
truly happy.
I started to walk back up the street from which I came from.
"Wait violent! Where are you going? I have to fulfill my destiny." I said.
"You just a kid." She said looking into my eyes.
"I'm not Human. I'm not a kid." I calmly said
"Thank you for everything. what will you do now?" She said
"I have to go find my dad. So we can stop them. No will ever hurt because of the government again. I promise." I said as I turned away.
Tears dripped down my eyes. I didn't look back because I was afraid that I would stay forever, but I knew I couldn't because I have a plan a destiny, and I have to help save this country or we all die, the real death of mental exhaustion. I will not rest until I can go to sleep. I may be dead, but others are alive. The others are who I fight for.
