ENCOUNTER

EDWARDS'S POINT OF VIEW

               I had no idea why , she wasn't considering running . She instead pinned one of the men to the wall and beat him up . At that point I was going to go to her and drag her out , if I had to. She was outnumbered , and she would be in trouble. I heard a rustling noise , that a human wouldn't have . I looked back to see Emmett and Jasper , '' We 're here to protect our sister . Alice told us '' . I nodded and tuned in to their minds , they were helping because they thought , no knew , that it would hurt me if she had a scratch on her . I smiled , but then a thought crossed Emmett's mind '' Lord, when will she become a Cullen?''. I growled loudly , '' Oh sorry Edward ''.

          I looked back at Skylar , she was beating them up while replying wittingly to their disgusting thoughts and words. I smiled , she didn't need a hero  to save her . One  man had managed to run , I looked at Emmett and Jasper , they nodded and went to set the one who ran in his place . I turned around to see a confused Skylar , looking at the men . I took it she didn't know what to do with them . I laughed at her expression . This is where I come in . 

              I went to Skylar looking genuinely concerned. I wanted to know if they had done anything to her , before I could make it . If they had , I would rip each  one of them limb by limb. '' Are you okay , I saw your fight there? Ever think of running? '' I asked as casually I could manage. '' Um yeah , I am fine and stalker much '' I chuckled after almost getting raped , that's what creeped her out. Unbelievable. ''But I didn't run because then these idiots would just do this to another unlucky girl . So I put them in their place , once and hopefully for all ''she continued. She would never stop amusing me. She didn't run because she wanted to beat them up . Classic Skylar , I guess. '' Well , I believe we have an essay to argue over'' I stated . She nodded and started walking to the Café , while kicking rocks out of her way . 

              I opened the door for her , and we made our way in . And that's when she gasped . I looked over at her to see what was wrong. ''My shopping bags ''. You have got to be kidding me . Honestly , her and Alice would get along as sisters. At that moment , Emmett and Jasper came in the Café holding shopping bags. '' Hey , Skylar . We were just going to drop Eddie of here , but decided to come say hi to you too. And then we found these in an alley and were wondering , Eddie are these yours ?'' Emmett asked , whilst holding up three bags from , Melanie Lynne , a girls clothing store . '' No they're mine's and it was very sweet of you to say hi . Would you like to stay?'' Skylar asked while chuckling to Emmett asking me if I  shopped from a girls clothing store, once Emmett and Jasper agreed , I couldn't help but to feel sad. I was hoping to know more about her , perhaps become friends if not anything more. Jasper sensed my emotions and sent me a reassuring thought '' Don't worry , we will be leaving in a bit . If I can convince Emmett . He fancies her too , in a sister way of course.''. I nodded towards him and smiled . 

         We made our way to the table that I very conveniently reserved.  As we sat down , me and Skylar started arguing about which topic for a straight 20 minutes . To be honest , I was more than happy to do Protein Synthesis , I was just amused by her outburst . It was fascinating , to see how one could be so stubborn.

                '' How about a deal ? '' I  propose.  She nods and I continue '' We both do a coin toss, let fate decide . I call heads '' , '' I guess I am tails then'' she sighed . Emmett pulled out a coin and tossed it up high and then announced '' The winner is ......................Edward. Sorry Skylar.'' . ''UGH'' Skylar groaned. I laughed and said '' Well , How about you come to my house after school on Monday and we can do our assignment about Gerontology. She smiled a fake smile , meant for me to see the fakeness'' Fine , Monday then'' She said getting up . I didn't want her to leave , I only said when we could meet again not that this encounter had to end . Reluctantly, my brothers and I got up , Emmett and Jasper went to the car , giving me time with Skylar . ''Goodbye partner '' I said before we parted way's , she to her path and me to mine . I would make sure that after this assignment I would leave her alone , never cross my path with hers . She was too good , too innocent , to deserve a monster like myself. 

A/N I AM MAKING REALLY SHORT CHAPTERS I KNOW , I'LL START MAKING LARGER ONES, I AM JUST VERY LAZY THESE DAYS . I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE SECOND CHAPTER , IT'S GOING TO START OUT FROM ED'S PERSPECTIVE , THEN MOVE TO SKYLAR'S SO MUCH IS GOING TO HAPPEN . LIKE , SOMEONE MAY HAVE A VISION . OH AND ELIZABETH HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! VOTE AND COMMMENT , THEY MEAN ALOT.
