A SWEET DREAM

Today was the day I planned on telling Edward  I knew what he was . Yesterday , was the first night I dreamt of Edward . It was a strange dream or nightmare . I was  standing in pure darkness and there was one figure . Surrounding it was it's inner soul. It was pure , it was the only light I could see in the dark place I was standing . As I looked closer , I saw the figure to be Edward. He looked distraught , and then he just kept repeating ''I am a monster''. I wanted to tell him that I saw his soul and it was pure as gold and he wasn't a monster. But I couldn't talk , I screamed and thrashed around but he didn't hear me . And then my soul was taken away from me , I looked and I could see that I was made of light too . My soul looked at Edward and said '' I love you" I stared at it confused , Edward looked just as shocked . ''How can you love a monster ?'' Again I had the strangest urge to go put my arms around him and tell him he isn't a monster . Why , oh why does he keep repeating it ? ''You aren't , I love you .'' said my soul and then Edward walked closer to me , not my soul . Our souls were then returned and Edward kept walking toward me and something told me not to move . I trusted Edward with my life , vampire or not .  He put his hand to my face and caressed it with his finger , stroking softly .He took my hand , put me  on his back and ran at superhuman speed until we were at a meadow filled with beautiful flowers . Over here I could talk and I did . ''They're beautiful '' I said looking at Edward.

''Not more than you '' I blushed when he replied . We sat down and he asked ''Can you live with a monster , like myself?''And I woke up , I didn't want to . It was the strangest yet sweetest dream I have ever encountered . If I had a choice I would have never woke up . The saddest part was I didn't get to answer , if I did I would have told him that his name and monster can never go in the same sentence.

I picked out my outfit which consisted of a black leather jacket , a red and black flannel , ripped black tights , black boots and a grey beanie . Once I was satisfied with how I looked I went downstairs , stuffed myself with cereal and went outside to go to school . I still had quite a while before I could go to school , so instead I took the long route there . Which provided me time to think . 

          I had feelings for Edward even though I wouldn't admit it. My dream had proven that , but it also had proven he was a vampire . Which I knew , but it seemed more official now . I loved him and well I couldn't lie to myself anymore , I couldn't stay away from him . He was my anchor to the fantasy world . Vampires and werewolves don't exist , but now they do and I love one . But does he feel the same? Oh who am I kidding , he has a freaking girlfriend.

         As I was coming out of my car , I saw Mike wave and tell me to come over . Since there was nothing else to do , I went over and said my greetings . '' So how are you doing after the break up with Edward'' Angela asked Bella. Wait break up , I knew the reason . It was Bella cheating on Edward with the big bulky guy . But was this a way fate was playing a game with my life . I just confessed my feelings to myself and the only thing that kept me from asking Edward if he felt the same , was Bella . And now they broke up . Fate sure does enjoy messing with me . 

      After my first three periods , I had noticed that none of the Cullen's were at school . I was going to the Cafeteria when Bella approached me . '' I know you know about Edward and his family and yes , I did break up with him . I fell for someone else and the reason they aren't here is because there is sun outside , I will let them explain the rest and please protect their secret'' and with that she just left me .

Mike then came over ''Hey , Skylar do you want to  go to the fall carnival with me ?There is one in Port Angeles every year. '' Wow , I don't even know what to say , but I wanted to go see the carnival and get away from my problems so bad that I said ''Um , yeah sure'' Mike's expression changed and a big grin was replaced instead of his nervousness. ''I will pick you up at 8 then '' Oh lord , what have I done ?
