Leta's P.O.V

I sat around in my cage, waiting for someone to come along and adopt me

Tired of getting beaten up and treated like crap, I shift into my cat form

Yes, I'm a hybrid

And rare black cat hybrid to be exact

I have no idea how I ended up here in this prison, but all I remember is that I've been here for a very, very, VERY, long time

I'm now 18 and I'm pretty sure I've been here since I was 6

That's as far as I can remember

After a while of being bored, I decided to take a nap

But just before I could get comfy in my small bed, the door opened

Glorious light shown into the many cells as I could tell that the other hybrids were hoping to get out of this junk yard

Two figures stepped in

They both looked around 18

I honestly can't tell

Miss Helman, our 'owner' talked to the two people for a bit before showing them towards us

All the other hybrids cooed and barked at them, wanting to be taken home

Some even transformed into their human form

But me........I just stayed where I was

I didn't coo, purr or scratch at the metal bars

Nothing

Just sat there and looked innocent

Jonah's P.O.V

"I see you two just can't stay away from this place hum?" Questions miss Helman with a chuckle at the end

"Well, I guess we both love hybrids?" Replies Corbyn

"Well, right this way gentlemen." Jesters miss Helman as Corbyn and I walk towards the hybrids

I truly felt bad for these for people

And to think a hot guy like Zach came from here

"Hey Jonah." Says Corbyn

I look at him

"Ya?"

"What if we get a girl hybrid?" He questions

I think about it

Having a girl hybrid would be pretty lit and something different (I swear if anyone makes a pun I'll slap you)

"That'll be cool." I say

"So it's settled? We're getting a girl?"

"Yep!"

We walk around and look at all the hybrids

Corbyn and I were coming to the end of the line when I see a cute little black cat sitting at the door of its cage

"Corbyn! Look at this one!" I say, turning Corbyn around so he was looking at the small creature
