It's not dying that you need to be afraid of. It's not having lived in the first place.
- Britt Reid, The Green Hornet

*knock knock*

"Hello Ora how are you feeling?" Youlson says as he walks through the door.

"I'm feeling fine a little nauseous though..." I was suspicious, I didn't know what to think. Does he know about my healing and what not. How did I get here. None of my questions being answered.

"Good." He's acting different. "Mr and Mrs Smith can you please exist the room I need to talk to Ora for a moment." My parents left not saying anything. My heart pounding. Did they know also. Once the door shut James looked into my eyes. I knew he could tell I'm nervous.

"So doctor-"

"Don't doctor me young lady." He snapped at me and I just sat there in silence waiting for him to speak. He puts his hands over his face. "How long?"

"How long for what? I don't even know what's real and what's not right now!" I yelled at him. He was playing the adjective game.

"How long have you had theses... powers." He bit his lip. He's a man of science he doesn't believe in this stuff. So for him to ask... Oh god.

"The night at Olive Garden." I mumbled hoping that's what he was talking about.

"Last night, do you know what happened?"

"The last thing I remeber was stumbling on the foor and seeing.... Oh my god I saw Gladio!" I was slightly fangirling.

"Yes Gladio bought you in, he also was protecting your identity, but your eyes and hair is obvious for your Doctor who perform that surgery." As he puts his fingers up to his nose as if he had a headache.

I paused for a moment. "Do they know, my parents that is?"

"No I didn't tell them. Kid this is as confusing as it is to me as it is to you."

"Hey you developed the serum."

"Wait your saying it's the serum?" He looks up st me confused and worried.

"Well I didn't have super healing and super strength before my surgery, and you said so yourself my lack of pain was odd."

He just sat in silence. I didn't blame him. "Kid, I don't want you doing that again." I cut him off.

"What are you kidding me!" I stood up. " I'm practically invincible you can stab me in the back and my wounds will heal. I can bend metal pipes with my hands. I can stop bullets in mid air."

"Kid, let me finish. Wait you can stop bullets in mid air? Sorry im getting off topic. You have a good heart. I know I can't stop you from doing what your heart says, but at the very least fight with your head not your heart."

I didn't know what to do but leap and hug him. "I promise I'll be careful and any test you want to do on me I'll let you do it. I know how much you want the noble prize." I winked at him. I didn't realised I was hugging him to hard.

"Kid, let go." I let go as he asked as he stumbled for air.

"Sorry I don't know my own strength."

Youlson walked by the door opened it and gestured for my parents to come in.

"Well now that I'm done yelling at her about how stupid she was acting the way she did last night and she should apologize to you." He looked over at me.

"I'm sorry mom and dad... I guess I can be home schooled for my Junior and Senior year." Thoses words stung my mouth. I didn't want to be home schooled.
