Confused Feelings (Tododeku)

Another Student

Third point of view
As Midoriya and Todoroki continued to walk hand in hand they had finally arrived to the door of class 1-A.

Todoroki point of view

We had finally made it to the class door. Midoriyas hand started to shake and I have her a reassuring squeeze. "*Sigh* Okay I can do this." Midoriya said softly. I looked her in the eyes and smiled. "It's ok. Everything will be fine." I pat her head with my free hand. She blushed in response, I only just realized what I did and had a dust of pink on my face. We were about fifteen minutes early so she could adjust herself if needed. "Ready?" I asked still holding her hand. "Uh *exhale* Ready." And with that we walked into the class. Not surprisingly only a few students were here. Momo, Uraraka, Iida, Bakugo and Ojiro. Everyone's eyes looked to us. Midoriya started to shake and I just squeezed her hand more. Uraraka and Momo looked at out hands and gave me a evil grin. I made a mental note to never tell them anything. Iida rushed over to inspect us. "Todoroki this is inappropriate for school! How dare you hold the hand of a young girl. You should be ashamed!" He said making hand gestures. Bokugo just scoffed and went back to staring out the window. Midoriya had turn super red realizing we were still holding hands but still didn't let go. "Want to head over to my seat?" I asked trying to get away from Iida and his hand gestures. She only nodded. Slowly the rest of the class came in.

Midoriya had been sitting in a chair next to me and been talking about what she would say to the class. No one seemed to notice us because my seat was in the back. The bell had rang and Aizawa sensei had unzipped his yellow caterpillar bag from behind the potium to stand. "Everyone take your seats." He said as always. Until his eyes met Midoriyas seat and back to where we had been sitting. "Todoroki, want to introduce us your girlfriend next to you?" He said with a grin with his knowing voice. "Uh I'm." Midoriya didn't know what to say until I gave her a smile. This gained many whispers from the class. Midoriya stood up and began to speak. "My name is Izumi Yagi!" Momo and Uraraka were taken aback by this. While we were discussing what we would do about introductions this was an option. I just didn't expect this to be the one she picked. "Well Miss Yagi, tell us about yourself and your quirk." He said with a shit eating grin. She began to shake more but continued. "My quirk is enhanced body! I um, it's like super strength. And I like to write and draw!" She sounded so confident. I couldn't help but laugh a little at her loud voice.

"Well Miss Yagi please take a seat next to Todoroki since it seems you know him." He said in his sleep deprived voice. She say down with her hair covering her face. "Has anyone seen Midoriya?" He asked looking at Midoriya and I. 'That bastard.' "He wasn't feeling well so I think he's sick." Uraraka said. Thank goodness for her. I don't think we need anymore surprises. "Ok then just make sure to give him his homework them." And with that class continued as normal. Only Midoriya was next to me, and a girl. Well I guess normal for everyone else. Class was let out for lunch finally. Midoriya was a stuttering mess and I couldn't help but laugh. This caught her off guard. She punched me in the arm blushing. On our way to the lunch room, we were bombarded with questions. "Is this your girlfriend Todoroki?!" "What's her deal?!" "Why is she only coming to school now?!" So many people were asking questions I couldn't tell who they were coming from. Midoriya began to shake and hid behind me. I felt her face press against my back. It was wet with tears. "We need to go now. Aizawa sensei needs to talk to us." I said walking away Midoriya still against my back. Uraraka and Momo noticed and exchanged looks of concern. We finally cut a corner and I began to speak. "Izumi?" She poked her head around to face me, wet from the tears she had. "Todo kun can we go back to my dorm? Please." I nodded and took her hand. I felt someone behind us and stopped. Midoriya seemed to notice as well because she had stayed quiet and began looking around. I froze the floor behind us causing someone to yelp. It was Hagakure. "Hagakure would you mind leaving us alone." I said slightly annoyed. "Ah Todoroki kun, um I wasn't doing anything!" She said. I darted my eyes were she made a place in my ice. "I think I might just leave the ice here. Have fun thawing it out." I said walking Midoriya in hand smiling. "W-wait! I can't stay here!" I stopped and unfroze the ice. With a sigh I just kept walking with Midoriya. "Thank you! And sorry, just wanted a closer look at you two love birds!" She said assuming to have left by now. I looked at Midoriya who had a dark blush formed on her face as the words 'Love birds'

We finally made it to her dorm. As she unlocked it she let go of my hand and slumped down on her bed. "Are you ok Izumi?" I said still getting used to her new name. "Todo kun what did I just do? I don't want them to think of me as Izumi. I'm Izuku. I was happy with everything going on but now they're going to treat me different when they find out!" She started crying again into her pillow. I felt bad. I hate to see her upset and hurt. I had been calling her Izumi. Was that bad. Does she want me to call her Izuku. I sighed and sat down in her bed. "Izuku. It's ok. I'm here." She lifted her head off her pillow and laid it on my lap. She closed her eyes and held my hand. "Shoto. Can we stay like this for a bit." She said in a tired voice. I blushed at her sudden actions. "U-uh yeah." Did I just stutter. "Mhm. Thanks. Don't leave me ok?" I couldn't help but die at her words. "I'd never leave you." I said. But she was already asleep. "Sleep well princess." I said closings my own eyes.
