Quinn POV

The silence in the element room was heavy as I feel my fathers eyes pour in Grey. They were venom and I felt that if I were to let go of his hand, father would tear him open. He would show no mercy upon his killing and you revel in the shedding of my mates blood.

I could feel my mother pleading with my father through her mind. Begging him to not become his mothers ex mate. But he was so shaded by the fact that Grey's pack has killed wolves of our pack and many others.

"No." He is short and his words are full of disgust and anger.

"Father if you would just listen then maybe you could understand what is happening. Grey isn't wha-"

"Quinn shut your mouth. Don't you know what he's done to this pack. On his and hundreds of our pack members have been killed. For no reason other then the blood. He is no man. And he is definitely no mate I don't want you to be with him.

"Father no he's not like that he's different and kind. You don't know his story! If you would just listen!" I can feel the tears well up in my eyes as I feel his power getting stronger and stronger. Feeding off of Grey's fear. He knows what he's capable of and he's not afraid to use it. This man is not the father I grew up with. This is a devil.

"Quinn no just shut the hell up! You have no clue what you're talking about! He has-"

"Killed father yes we know!" Carter says and slams his fist against the table and stands up. "What have you become! Willing to kill your own daughters mate! Just let him explain! You have no right to be this angry, he has done nothing today to prove he could be dangerous let him speak damn it." My brothers voice boomed nothing less then powerful. His alpha voice showing so much force that my father sat down.

"Carter don't talk to me that way!" My father says but Carter shuts him down.

"Stop and let him speak. I am going to be alpha let me deal with it." He commands and my fathers eyes turn their bright blue but he submits. "Grey, why should we trust you?"

"Well um," he clears his throat and sits straighter then he was already sitting. "My father was killing anyone in my pack who was disrespecting him. He was beating me and my mother. He tried to hurt my little brother and sister but I wouldn't  let him. He just went crazier and crazier. I had to form a new pack. So when I turned 18 I escaped with 300 of the pack members who were willing to leave. My mother and siblings joined me. By the time my father found out we were hours from home. But he found us. He took my brother and crossed your boundary lines. He along with the remaining of that pack fought yours and lost but killed some of your own. You killed the remaining of the pack and when my mother came to receive my brother and I was with her she told me to run with him and she would try and negotiate. Before she could even say two words one of your men killed her." I squeeze Grey's hand and feel his words as they impact me.

I look at my father and his stern look hasn't wavered but I can feel his regret as he remembers the night this happened.

"I'm sorry we did this to you. But my father carried my packs title until he was killed. And I'm sorry we did this to you." Grey looks at me and I squeeze his hand and lean my head on his shoulder.

"Okay." My father says.

"Really?" I ask hoping this isn't some sick joke.

"Yes. But you will be put under the jury to decide if you may return with my daughter should she ever visit." He goes to stand up my my mother pushes him back into his seat.

"Mason shut the hell up. Welcome to the family!" My mom walks over to Grey and wraps him up in her famous bear hugs. I clap my hands happily.

"Pack dinner tonight!" I grab his hand and run down to the AV Room to make the announcement.
