“Where are you going?”

“Shawn is getting out of the hospital today, I'm giving him a ride.”

“I'm coming. I don't trust him.”

“Alright but don't start any arguments he's still in recovery.” We arrived at the hospital 15 minutes later.

“Hey Shawn you ready?”

“Yes I've been ready since I woke up. Are all of these guards necessary?”

“Yeah. You're a rogue, you can't be trusted, now come on I don't have all day.”

“Ace don't be rude!” We headed back to the pack house to get him settled in.

“Wow this place is huge.” He smiled.

“That was my reaction when I first got here. I'll see you later.”

“Thanks Anna.”

She hugged me and kissed me on the cheek then left. I have to find this lake without being seen. I went to the trees and shifted. I had to rely on my hearing and smell to find it. It took me five minutes. I shifted and put on my shorts. How the hell was I supposed to contact her.

“I’m here.” I said to no one in particular. I sat down and waited for her to show up.

“I trust you made progress.” She popped out of no where scaring the hell out of me.

“Yes I'm in the house.”

“How is it going a with Anna?”

“Good. She hugged and kissed me.” I left out on the cheek. I needed to buy time and telling her what she wanted to hear seemed like the best way to do it.

“Good. Do you need anything?”

“No.”

“You've got a month to get this done, he's getting crowned next month.”

“Alright.” I said turning to leave.

“Oh and Liam..”

“Yes?”

“I know about your mate, get this done and I’ll let her live.”

“You touch my mate and die.” I heard her laugh.

“Meet me here next Monday at 8pm.” She said then disappeared. How the hell did she find out about my mate? That bitch better not do anything stupid. I've got to talk to Ace, hopefully he wont kill me.

He better not do anything dumb like claim his mate, she's in the way. I may have to get rid of her. I wish I could get into the pack house. That would make things easier. My stupid mother, god I hate her. I can't wait until she begs me not to kill her. She was never proud of me no matter what I did. It's like when dad left he took her sanity with him. The only person who loves me is Ace. I can't wait to have him, we're going to be the most powerful couple in the supernatural world. I’ll convince him to kill the vampire king but that witch queen is mine. I still can't believe they are giving her the title. She doesn’t deserve it, everything is always handed to her while I had to work for everything my whole life. I picked up a picture of me and Ace running my fingers over his face. I went into the bathroom and took the pregnancy test. I nearly fainted when it said positive. I went from shocked to angry. I'm going to kill him. I ran to his office and slammed the door open. Everyone turned and looked at me like I was crazy.
