"I can't believe mom's not pissed at you." Danielle raised her eyebrows in agreement to Amy as they sat in the living room with Ashley. Danielle couldn't believe it either. She was sure that her mom would have lectured her as soon as they got home Wednesday. She was wrong. All Anne told her was that it was okay. Danielle only got suspended for the rest of the week, which was two days, but she really thought her mom would be pissed. Ashley, who had been buried in her phone for the past hour, looked up at them. "Why didn't she get mad" Ashley asked and Danielle shrugged as she pulled her hair up, "She said that it was because I did what she taught us to do" Danielle stated and Ashley raised her eyebrows. Ashley and Amy glanced to each other in confusion, trying to figure out what their mom was talking about. They couldn't. Danielle rolled her eyes. "To stick up for someone you care about" Danielle clarified and realization crossed their faces. "Oh." Danielle nodded at them with a small laugh. Silence fell over them. Danielle started to twirl the tip of her hair. "Have you talked to Ricky" Amy asked, breaking the silence, and Danielle shook her hea. Danielle knew, thanks to Adrian, that Ricky was pretty pissed about what happened. Danielle didn't know why, but she wasn't going to apologize for doing something that she thought was right. Ricky could be pissed all he wants. "I gotta go. I have a date with Ben." Danielle nodded as someone knocked on the door. Danielle sighed before going to answer it as Amy started to walk up the steps. Danielle opened the door and was taken by surprise. "Jack?" Amy, who had just reached the third step, quickly poked her head around the corner. "Hi, can I come in" he asked and Danielle glanced around. "Sure." Danielle shut the door after he walked in. Amy tilted her head with a look of confusion as Danielle turned to face her. Danielle shrugged. She was just as confused at this moment.

Ricky raised his eyebrows as he sat in his, parked, car and pulled his phone out of his pocket. He glanced to the screen. Adrian. He rolled his eyes before answering. "What?" He knew what she wanted. It was the same thing she wanted when she called him earlier. "Grumpy" Adrian muttered and Ricky raised a brow, "You still mad at Danielle" Adrian asked and Ricky shrugged his shoulders. He remained silent, unknowingly answering Adrian's question. She scoffed. "Come on, Ricky. You know good and damn well that she only did that because she cares about you" Adrian snapped and Ricky rolled his eyes, "I get that. But that's not why I'm mad" Ricky told her and Adrian raised her eyebrows as she sat on the couch. She pulled her feet up under her. "Then what are you mad about" Adrian asked and Ricky sighed as he threw his head back against the seat. "Hey, Ricky!" Ricky smiled at the bubbly blonde. "Hi, Grace." "Grace?" Ricky quickly hung up the phone. Adrian scoffed. Now she remembered why Danielle denied her feelings for him for so long.

Danielle shifted as she stood in the entry way of her house with Jack. This was awkward. Neither had said anything since Jack walked through the door. Danielle was kind of worried that he was here for revenge over what happened Wednesday. She knew that he wasn't that kind of guy, but she also knew that some of the players stuck together. "You're not here to bitch me out about what happened, are you?" Jack raised his eyebrows in surprise. "What? No" Jack said quickly and Danielle raised a brow at him skeptically. "No. I just came by to see how you are" Jack told her and she visibly relaxed, "Oh. That's nice of you" Danielle said and Jack shrugged. That sounded more like Jack. "Yeah. I saw how hard he pushed you" Jack stated and Danielle shrugged it off, "Ah. Had worse" she joked and Jack smiled a little. Danielle glanced to the living room as Ashley stared at the two of them with a tilt of her head. "You wanna sit?" Danielle motioned to the couch and he nodded. Danielle was about to follow him when her front door swung open. "You will not believe this" Adrian sad as she walked up to her and Danielle raised her eyebrows, "What" Danielle asked and Adrian glanced around the house. She looked over Danielle's shoulder when she saw someone on the couch. Jack waved at her. Adrian pointed at him. "What is he---" Adrian waved her hands. "Never mind. Guess who Ricky's with right now." Danielle raised her eyebrows at Adrian before shrugging. Why should she care? "Grace Bowman." Danielle's mouth almost dropped open. "What?!?"

Ricky sighed as he paced around his bedroom with his phone in his hand. He wanted to call Danielle, but he was fighting it. He didn't want to argue with her. She was probably pissed at him. He hadn't talked to her since Wednesday morning, and he was positive that Adrian told her he was mad. Not the mention the fact that Adrian overheard him saying hi to Grace. Not that Danielle would really care. She knew how he was. It wasn't like Ricky was actually dating Grace. It was just fun. Ricky shook his head before putting his phone on the table. He would just talk to her at school on Monday. At least the chances of her yelling at him were slim to none.
