I stood beside the clock in the central park as he instructed last night.

I looked at my pocketwatch and figured it was 10 seconds left till 10am. If he's late even for a second, I will leave.

*sigh* Why did I even bother to come here anyway?

I just felt guilty if he did came and waited the entire day. He's just a kid after all. He's still not capable in making perpetual decisions. Maybe this plan he talks about is just his whim. He will eventually get tired.

Ah, that's right. He will eventually give up soon.

"Suzume-san!!!"

My watch says it's 3 seconds left. He won't make it. I looked to where the voice was coming from. He's running in black leather shoes...

...

"Why are you wearing a suit and a tie?" I asked as he finally reach me and he bends down to his knees to catch his breath.

"I figured... *pants* You will wear... something so formal like an office attire again... L-like you usually do...*gasp* So I decided to match your fashion."

"I don't always wear an office attire..." I retorted, letting him catch his breath.

He finally stood up straight and then studied me head to toe. "Yep, you are wearing one again right now. Ah! I'm so relieved. I thought I might look weird if I was the only one wearing this today!"

"...?! Are you implying I look weird all the time?!"

"No, of course not! It's too normal for you already that the definition of weird doesn't suit you anymore! Hahahah" He scratches his head bashfully.

I'm not sure if he was trying cheer me up or insult me... but I let it slide.

"I'm glad you came though" he says, now going serious. "Now, let's first go to the movies! Today and onwards you are my girlfriend!" He says cheerfully and unrolls his arm over my shoulder.

"I still didn't agree to this" I murmured, trying to get away from his arms.

"Yes, you did! Wait, what's inside that brief case?" He points out to my bag.

"You mean my bag? Just my usual stuff." I sat down my heels and opened it for him on the ground. "In case my blouse gets stained, I brought an extra pair of clothes, also an extra small towel. A toothbrush and a small toothpaste. I also brought a compact size umbrella in case it rains."

"What is the pad paper for?" he points out, sitting on his heels too.

"Ahh, if ever I need to write on something. I also brought a pen, pencils and small pack of crayon in case they will be needed too. And oh, I also brought a small extra chopsticks, plates and contracting cup. And here is a filter paper, wooden Swiss knife— it works, and a solar powered radio receiver just in case..."
