TJ

I woke up feeling better than usual. I never felt this good waking up in my apartment back in Florida.

I slipped out of bed, shivering a little bit at the loss of warmth from my blanket. I picked my phone up off of the nightstand, noticing a text message from a number I didn't know

Unknown
TJ. You left and didn't tell me? Well, that just sucks for you now doesn't it? Watch your back , Taylor.

I cringed at someone using my first name. No one ever does that. I couldn't think of who it could be. No one crossed my mind, at all.

I let it go and walked out of my room, wrapping my blanket around myself. I made my way down the stairs to see Zion sitting on the couch watching TV.

"Good morning Z."

"Morning, TJ" He said, not diverting his attention from the TV in front of him.

I walked into the kitchen making two bowls of cereal. One for me, one for Zion. I know I don't know him, at all, but I just thought I'd be nice. I made my way back into the large living room, extending my arm out to hand Z his bowl of cereal.

"Thank you" he spoke, holding a long gaze with me as I went to sit down.

"No problem. Where is everyone? It's deadass quiet in here" I laughed

He chuckled "they went out shopping. You do realize it's noon right?"

"Oh god, I didn't realize" I said feeling guilty "I never sleep that long"

He looked over at me and put his hand on my leg. I didn't realize that I was sitting closer than intended. "It's all good. I understand." He spoke, removing his hand from my leg.

"So how did you and Austin meet..." I questioned, trying to change the subject.

"I met him through Brandon." He said, with no details.

"Oh nice, do you know how he met them?"

"I think they actually met at a dance studio. I know him and Ed go way back to North Carolina, tho" he said, keeping his gaze on me.

"Really? I had no idea he knew Ed. What a dumbass for not telling me" I said, laughing.

"So where are you from?" I asked after he didn't respond to what I previously said.

"No where." He spoke, quickly. "I mean....I'm uh... from here. LA. California. Yeah" he said fidgeting.

"okayyy...born and raised LA, I guess?" I said.

He nodded.

I finished my cereal and placed both me and Z's bowls in the sink.

"We're you homeschooled or did you go to public school?" I asked, trying to find out more about him.

"I don't know. Well... I went to public...school." He said, fidgeting a little bit.

"Nice..." I said, slowly getting yo to go back to my room. I could feel Zion's eyes burning holes into my back.

1 Week Later

Me and Zion have been eating breakfast together every morning for the past week. It's like our thing, I guess. We've become closer but he is still really closed off about his past life.

Today we're going shopping. Nick decided to come too. Not sure why, I think he needed new joggers or something. I swear, that boy is more expensive than any girl I know.

We walked into the mall. Luckily it wasn't busy today, so we didn't have to worry about fans. Well, the boys didn't. The fans don't really care about me, and I'm okay with that.
