Ray woke up to the sun shining in his face. As he got out of the blindness of the sun, he looked his room. This time he was alone and the room felt empty. Ray then felt his lips, he felt as if he could still feel Anna's kiss. He never been kissed before, he enjoyed it but, she didn't feel right to him. There was knock on his door a few minutes later. He opened it and was greeted with Sabrina.
"Morning." Ray yawned.
"It's time to get ready." Sabrina announced.
"Ready for what." Ray asked as he gave a confused expression.
"A demon army is heading this way and General Anna needs you to get ready." Sabrina responded.
Ray nodded and they both headed to the armory. As they got there, Ray got to see his armor and a variety weapons he could chose from. There was a sword, battleaxe, spear, and a crossbow. Sabrina watched him as he was testing the weapons out. The weapons didn't feel right to him. He then looked at Sabrina who looked like she was day dreaming.
"Sabrina." Ray called to her.
"Yes?" She asked as snapped for her dream.
"Is there any other weapon beside these?" Ray asked.
"Yes but no one has ever used it before." Sabrina responded.
She then brought a giant long chest. Ray then opened it and the weapons was a giant scythe. Ray looked at it with amazement, he couldn't believe what he was seeing. He then picked it up with ease.
"Why has no one used it before?" Ray asked Sabrina.
"Its hard to use against enemies, but it deals a lot of damage to them." Sabrina asked.
"Stand back, I want to try it for a bit." Ray warned.
Sabrina walked back to the outside of the room. The scythe was about six feet long an was very light for what it's made of. Ray was able to spin it, swing with high speed, and was able to do tricks with it.
"I've never seen anyone use it like that." Sabrina mentioned.
"I guess they don't have the skill for it." Ray said with a smile.
There was footsteps heading toward their direction. They both stopped and looked the direction it was coming from. Anna then walked from the entrance of the room. She looked at Ray and gave a confused face.
"Is the scythe the weapon you're choosing?" Anna asked him.
"Yeah, just feels right." Ray responded.
"If it feels right to you, I guess we can work with this." Anna said.
Both Ray and Sabrina looked confused at her but went along with it.
"Did you see your armor Ray?" Sabrina asked him.
"No." Ray responded.
Sabrina pulled out the standard metal armor and Ray gave it look. He put it on and instantly realized it was heavy.
"How much does this weigh?" Ray asked.
Both Anna and Sabrina were confused.
"It weighs as much as the scythe." Sabrina responded.
"We have a lighter version." Anna claimed.
Sabrina brought that out and Ray went into that one.
"This one is kind of heavy but I can manage." Ray said.
Both Anna and Sabrina were relieved to hear him say that.
Later in the day, the kingdom's army headed out toward the demon army heading toward them. Ray rode beside Anna with his horse. Anna was in the front leading the army. Sabrina was in a wagon behind Anna. As they were riding the day was cooling and it felt more relaxing. They eventually all gathered into an huge open field. Anna stopped the army and waited for a moment. After a few minutes, Ray looked at Anna with confusion.
"Why are we stopping?" Ray asked her.
"Do you hear that?" Anna asked him.
Ray listened for any sound, but all he could hear was the low wind.
He then looked up and saw what look a giant red bird. The bird like creature then swooped down and picked up someone.
"Demons!" Anna yelled.
The demon army the popped over the hill and was running toward them. People who had crossbows were shooting at the giant flying demon. Ray and the others ran toward the demon army. Without warning Ray got knocked off his horse. He got up and demons ran toward him with maniac like laughs. Ray sliced them in half in an instant. He looked around and saw his horse running away. He then saw Anna being crowed by a bunch of demons. Ray ran to help but the demons were quickly beheaded by her. Ray was stunned at what he saw.
"Hello again." A voice behind Ray said.
Ray turned around and saw a demon recognized, it was the girl demon from his village. Her rainbow hair was familiar.
"You again?" Ray said.
"Do you miss me?" She asked.
"Yeah, I'm glad I can finally kill you for what you did to me." Ray responded.
"You dream too much." She said with an evil smile.
Anger flowed through Ray as he looked at her. He couldn't wait to slice her into pieces.
