From Feud to Love (continuing)

Meeting Up With Ashton

I got this letter from Ashton:

Hi,
Please meet me at the park as soon as possible. I have something I want to ask you. It's important.

     The next morning, I got up and ran straight out to him.

    I saw him and he asked me, "Would you want to go to the movies with me?"

   I said, "Yes, I'd love to!"

    He kissed me and he ran off to go see how his pops is doing.

I got home and everything went fine.

I got way too excited so I told Damon about it.

He said, "Wait, so you're like dating this guy now. I mean you don't even know him!"

I replied, "I know that's the point of dating."

He said, "I don't know if I want you dating this guy."

I said, "Ok, you're my best friend in all but you should have known and said something. He's a nice guy, I am going to give him a chance. Anyways, remember when I met you? You were a little boy and you were a bad one too. You always did something bad all the time. This guy isn't bad. I gave you a chance, so can't I give him one?"

He said, "I suppose, but hear me out. The truth is, I like you... like more than friends. I just didn't want to be rejected. I want what'll make you happy. So I'll let you make your choice."

I said, "I wouldn't have rejected you. I'll have to think on this."

I went to my room to think to myself. What should I do? Date the guy who asked first or my best friend who I've known for a super long time.
