Chapter XIV- Blackmailed

Kristen's POV

Hailey told me to meet her at the mall which was a 30 minute drive from where I live

I've been waiting on her ass for about an hour and started walking around the mall by myself when it hit me

"That bitch stood me up" I think about it more
"She's probably with Ethan"I pull my phone out and text her

Me:If you think you're slick you have another thing coming Bitch.

I get in my car and speed off to Ethan's house furious as fuck

Please...Did that Bitch really think Ethan was going to get back with her just by her sending me away

I grip the steering wheel
I was so mad
When I see her I'm going to fight her

I arrive at his house and beat the fucking door

Mrs.Dolan answered worried
" Kristen is everything alright?"she says

"Is Hailey by any chance here"

"Yes in matter of fact she is,she's upstairs with Ethan" that's all I need to know before I ran upstairs to Ethan's room opening his door

Hailey was nowhere to be seen but Ethan was laying on his bed and rose when he saw me

"Where the Bitch at!" I spat
He scratches the back of his neck

"Ethan Where the fuck is the Bitch Hailey?" He stands up

"I have to talk to you Kristen" is all he says and I hear the bathroom door open from behind me revealing Hailey

I immediately got angry and forcefully walked towards her choking her back into the bathroom
She fell in the bathtub and I began to slap her

"Ethan!Is everything alright up there"Mrs.Dolan yells and he comes pushing me away from her

Why is he defending her?

He looks at me and grabs my arm softly
"I have to talk to you" he said sounding defeated and broken
He walks me in his room closing the door

Ethan's POV
Here we go
I didn't want to do this

"Kristen stay away from Hailey please" I say and she looks at me confusingly

"You're Defending her. Why?" She said

The 4 words that ruined everything
"Because I love her" it was hard for me to say that especially in front of Kristen

Tears start to form in her eyes
"Ethan" he says letting  a tear fall
The way she looked at me broke my heart I never wanted to hurt her

"What about our deal the contract"

"Forget about it all"I feel a tear from and I blink it away

" She's making you do this isn't she?"
She said

"No I'm doing this on my own I just don't want to be with you anymore I want to be with Hailey. Kristen please don't make this harder than it has to be" Hailey comes in and stand next to me observing the situation

Kristen glares at her and back at me
"Ethan please don't do this"

"You can do whatever you want with whom ever you want"
That's so not true

"Look me in the eye and tell me you don't want to see me again and I'll walk out that door and it'll be the last you'll hear from me" tears fall more down her cheek
