As I looked at them both with fear in my eyes. I looked over a Tanner and notice he wasn't afraid at all and that he looked relieved so when he grip my hand I knew I had nothing to worry about.
Tanner: stand by me baby and remember what I told you. "I'm not going to let no one hurt you"
Me: (smiling) I know baby!
As we got closer to them I saw Shawn face and he was in a paused position when he saw us holding hands I could see the anger in his face.
Candy: (smiling evilly) Well Well Well if it isn't the famous Nisha
Me: Well Well Well if it isn't the whore Candy nice marks on your face. (Smirking)
Shawn was so shock by the way I looked and even more shock that I was holding Tanners hand.
Shawn: So this where you been Nisha I been looking for never mind I see you got what you always wanted.
Tanner:Yeah the same way you took my ex away and got her pregnant.
When he said that Shawn looked at me then at my stomach and became red all over.
Shawn:She pregnant?
Tanner:Yeah!
Me: (rubbing my stomach)We better go inside.
The look on Shawn face was the look of a killer.
Shawn: (smiling) Im suck everything you got out of your life and you ain't gonna know it! (Stepping closer to me) You with my home boy and you pregnant by him that baby ain't gonna live to-
As soon as he was about to say more Tanner jump in front of me and knock Shawn out. As I looked at him laying there Candy was coming near me when Tanner bald up his fist once again and said I ain't never hit a female but today will be the day I fuck a bitch up.
Candy: I don't want no trouble I'm jus going to help my man up.
I took one last look at Shawn and began to walk off knowing this wasn't the last time I was going to see him. As we walk towards the entrance I grab Tanners had and that's when I heard a loud bang. As Tanner grab me and pulled me down I look up and notice it was Shawn shooting inside the hospital at us. Tanner hold my body next to his and kiss me on my check. After it was over I got up and saw that Tanner wasn't getting up with me. I looked down and saw he had a bullet wound to his neck. I began to call out and scream for the doctors to help. After praying for a total three hours I was interrupted by the doctor.
Doctor:Ms. August he needs to stay off his feet for a while but he okay the bullet didn't hit his main pressure wound. It's jus a puncher wound.
Me:(crying) thank god
Doctor: he just needs some rest and is going to have to spend the night here so you can stay with him.
Me:(crying holding my stomach) I need to be checked.
Doctor: Follow me mam!
After I was checked I was fine to knows baby heart was beating successfully and it was a boy. I couldn't wait til Tanner was awake from his nap to tell him that I was four months pregnant. I walked holding my ultrasound in one hand and a blanket in the other when I reach his room I walked in got onto to the pullout couch to stretch my legs out and fell asleep.
