-Reena-

It was dark. Darker than black. I couldn't see anything. I searched around with my fingers, hoping to find something to guide me. Suddenly I saw a glow ahead of me.

I walked closer and saw it. It was Kid in a different form. He was wearing a different outfit from what he usually wears. He also had black lines vertically crossing his mouth. He was taken over by madness.

"Reena," Kid called. I stood still, frozen solid. "Come here." I still couldn't move.

"N-no," I managed to say. He walked closer to me, so close that his nose barely touched mine. He was staring down into my soul. I shuddered.

"Come and join the madness! You'll be more powerful and feel no fear!" He lured me. I tried to back away but I couldn't. Kid! Snap out of it!

Wait, this isn't real. It's just a dream or illusion. Suddenly, a glass wall appeared between Kid and I. I tapped it with my finger. It made a slight crack. I tapped it a few more times and it shattered. Clash! The pieces crashed to the floor.

"Aah!" I screamed as I woke up. I sat up trying to catch my breath. I was in my room at Kid's mansion.

"Reena?" Kid called from behind the door. He opened it and came to my side. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine. Just a bad dream," I stated still breathing heavily.

"Listen Reena," He commanded me. I looked up and saw his emotionless face. My breathing became more steady. "It's been a long time and I want to admit this now." He grabbed my hand. I was shocked. "I-."

"Yeah I like you too," I cut him off. I see him slightly blushing and I could feel myself blushing too. I got up from my bed and wrapped my arms around Kid. He held me closer to him.

"You're the only symmetrical thing I could see," He stated.

I laughed.

"I'm symmetrical?... You're kidding me right?" I asked. He smiled. "Thanks Kid." We both leaned in closer to each other, our lips barely touching. I couldn't wait any longer. Then our lips touched.

"Breakfast's ready!" Patty called. We both pulled away rapidly in embarrassment. "Kid! Reena! What's wrong? What happened?"

"We'll be there!" Kid called still blushing. Patty hopped away happily but confused.

I smiled at Kid still blushing and we both headed to the dining room.

"Reena!" Aran called while grabbing my shoulder. I turned and saw Aran, already dressed up for school.

"What?" I asked. He quickly noticed my cheeks were red.

"What are you blushing about?"He asked curiously.

"Nothing!" I called. He looked at me in confusion but let it slide.

"I need to talk to you about the black blood." We never talked about Aran's black blood in a while. We were always afraid of letting the topic getting to our heads too much. We both sat down in the dinning room.

"Black blood?" I asked. "Is it about your weird demon friend you keep dreaming about?" Aran always dreamt about a little demon friend. I didn't trust that demon. Liz got us our food and we ate.

"Yeah. Kind of. He's offering to use the black blood to our advantage in soul resonance."

Like I said, I never trusted the demon. I wouldn't think of using black blood for a second.

"I'll think about it. I don't think we will be using it. I'll ask Professor Stein about it more when we get to school."

I got up and got ready for school.
