You sat in the passenger seat of Billy's car, the blue Camaro speeding its way down the poorly lit street. When Billy had called you and informed you that Max was missing, you didn't hesitate to offer your assistance in finding her. The two of you were supposed to go on a date, but this was more important- at least to you it was. But obviously, to Billy it was just a hassle, and a waste of his time. And telling by his reddening cheek, his father hadn't been to happy about the whole ordeal either. Looking over at your boyfriend, you saw the way his hands were clasped tightly around the steering wheel, the center of his knuckles turning white with a red rim.

"Hey," you spoke softly, reaching your hand out and gently placing it on top of his shaking leg, "we'll find her. You know she's fine, she's Max. She can handle herself. She most likely just snuck out because she went with Lucas."

"If she's with that fuckin' kid, I'm gonna kill them both," Billy spat, but his leg ceased its shaking, and the Camaro began to drop to a lower speed.

"No, you're not," you warned, gripping his leg tightly. "You'll yell at her for sneaking out, but you'll leave that boy out of it. Got it?" Billy looked over at you briefly, then brought his eyes back to the road, before letting out a short puff of air.

"Yeah, alright," he huffed, dropping one of his hands from the wheel to place on top of your own. "Thanks for you help, babe."

Once the two of you pulled up to the Byers household, courtesy of Mrs.Wheeler, the tension came right back. Billy lit a cigarette almost immediately before turning off the car and slowly getting out. Before you had the chance to open your own door, the front door of the house opened, and Steve Harrington came waltzing out. Billy's hand slammed onto the roof of the car, dragging the cigarette out of his mouth with a lazy smirk as he draped his body over the car door.

"Am I dreaming or is that you, Harrington?" Billy called, and you couldn't help but roll your eyes, taking your chance to get out of the car as well. You closed the door, leaning against it as you eyed the two boys.

"Yeah it's me, don't cream your pants," Steve deadpanned, his hands on his hips. Billy's smirk grew, holding the cigarette between his lips as he removed his leather jacket. You already knew things were going to get rough, there would've been no other reason for him to take off his jacket in this kind of weather.

"What're you doing here, amigo?" Billy questioned, tossing the jacket into the car before closing it and walking towards Steve, the taller boy meeting him halfway. Since when did Billy take spanish?

"Yeah, I've gotta ask you the same thing," Steve drawled, the two coming to a stop in front of one another. "Amigo."

Billy took another puff of his cigarette and kept it in his mouth, before hooking his thumb into his belt loop. You stayed by the car, watching with wary eyes.
