Summary: After your daughter is born, you share a nice couple of minutes with the people you truly care about.

Word Count: 425

A/N: This is soooo fucking short, it's more of a drabble than anything

"She's so beautiful," Billy sighed from beside you. You looked up at him, (e/c) eyes hazy as you tried to focus on him and the baby in his arms. You had just given birth about half an hour ago, to a beautiful baby girl.

"Hm, Lisa," you whispered, a ghost of a smile on your lips. Billy looked over at you, eyes wide with unshed tears.

"L-Lisa?" he questioned, voice cracking. You nodded, with an actual smile this time.

"After your mom. She's gonna have the blond curls just like the both of you, I know it," you said to him, reaching out to intertwine your pinky with his.

"God, I love you," Billy whispered, before leaning over to kiss you softly, being mindful of the baby in his arms. A few moments later, there was a gentle knock on the door. "Come in!" Billy called out. Steve and Max slowly came into the room, both holding respective gifts- Steve held flowers for you, while Max held a teddy bear for Lisa.

"Hey, how're you feeling?" Steve asked, coming to stand by your side.

"So, so tired," you sighed, but your face still held a smile. Steve smiled back and leaned down to kiss the top of your head.

"What'd you name her?" Max spoke up, from where she stood beside Billy. They had gotten along much better the past 9 months, and Billy was now the big brother he was always meant to be. He allowed Max to run her hands over the baby's head, smiling up at her.

"Lisa. After my mom," Billy grinned, finally allowing a teardrop to fall.

"Beautiful name," Steve said, running his fingers through your messy hair.

"Yeah, she really is pretty," Max agreed.

"Yeah, no shit. She's not dating until she's 30, and even then, I'll be watching," Billy grumbled, narrowing his eyes at his little girl. You giggled and shook your head, running your thumb over his hand.

"Sure thing, handsome," you laughed.

"I'll never let anything happen to you," he promised quietly, bringing the baby up to kiss her forehead. "I'll be a better father than Neil could've ever hoped to be."

"You're already a good dad, Hargrove," Steve said, rolling his eyes. "Even before the baby was born. Hell, you quit smoking just so that (Y/N) and Lisa wouldn't be near it. So don't come here with any of that crap," Steve declared. The two boys looked at one another, sharing knowing smiles and nods.

"Yeah, you're right. I am a good dad."
