Sun POV

Blake and I walked back to the house, well I walked, Blake fell asleep on the walk back. If I hadn't been holding her to me she would have face planted on the concrete. So now I was carrying her, she wasn't that heavy, but lifting anything for too long can get tiring. By the time I got back I was about ready to drop her, but I held on. Slowly, I shouldered open the door. When I went past the dining room, I saw Ghira and Kali sitting together, drinking tea. They both stood up at once and came over when they saw me. Ghira got to me first.

"What happened?" He asked, loooking worried, "What's going on?" I sighed. I knew they were going to react like this.

"She had a brakedown, so I thought I should bring her back and she fell asleep along the way." I explained. Kali nodded, but Ghira still had more for me.

"Why did she have a breakdown?" He asked.

"She was thinking about the Fall of Beacon." I said, looking down at Blake, sleeping in my arms. Then I looked back at Ghira.

"I think I should get her to bed, she is obviously exhausted." I said to him. He opened his mouth to object but Kali laid her hand on his arm and he closed it, then he nodded. I carried Blake to her room and gently laid her down on her bed. My arms were sore from carrying her for so long, but at least it was over. I stretched and yawned. Then, as I began to walk away I felt a grip on my arm. It was Blake.

"Sun." Blake's voice was heavy with sleep, but her grip was strong.

"Sun, please don't leave. I need you here." I didn't pull away from her grip, instead I looked back at her. She was sitting up in bed, gripping my arm. Her eyes were filled with tears. I slowly moved and sat down on the bed next to her before wrapping my arms around her and pressing her to me. I had never seen her this vulnerable and scared. Before I knew what was happening, Blake had hugged me too and pulled us both down until we were laying on the bed. My face went bright red and I tried to get up, but Blake held tight.

"Blake, what the hell?" I said, but she only repeated,

"I need you here."

"Blake, your acting really weird." I told her. She giggled.

"Oh, just shut up you stupid monkey." She said.

Blake POV

I woke up with my arms still wrapped around Sun, who was still asleep. Man, was he lazy. Then again, he probably didn't sleep as much as I did, I thought to myself. That got me thinking about last night. I didn't really feel ashamed of anything I had done that night other than showing Sun my sensitive side. Sure, Sun was a guy and I had never slept in the same bed as a guy who wasn't my father, but it's not like we had acutually...slept together. It meant nothing. And also, at that moment in time, I had needed him there more than anything else. I couldn't be alone with only my fears for company and Sun had a way of chasing all those fears away. Suddenly, I felt Sun stir. I quickly removed my arms from around him and sat up. Sun yawned and stretched as he struggled into consciousness and I waited. When he finally managed to wake up he looked over at me and gave me a sleepy grin.

"Good morning, Sunshine." He said. I gave a light smack on the cheek.

"Yeah, well Sunshine says to get up, you lazy monkey and get out of my room, I need to change." I said. Sun groaned and settled back onto the bed.

"But it's sooooo comfortable." He moaned. In response I forcefully pushed him off the bed. He landed on the floor with a loud thunk and an indignant yelp. I giggled.

Finally, I managed to get him out of my room. I then proceeded to change into a black T-shirt and a silky skirt that went down past my knees. Then I put my hair up in a ponytail. I came out my room feeling much better now that I was in more comfortable clothing. As I was passing his room, Sun came out as well. He was wearing a yellow shirt and comfortable looking gray sweatpants. He smiled at me and I smiled back. As we walked into the dining room, we saw Mom and Dad sitting at the table and while Mom smiled at us, Dad glared and Sun and I before returning to his food.

"Busy night, you two?" He said as we sat down.

"Ghira!" Mom said, loudly. My face went bright red, even Sun flushed a little. Dad didn't seem to hear my Mom. He looked up and glared Sun.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY IT BOY?" He yelled at Sun, slamming his fist on the table, making silverware fly everywhere. He pointed at Sun.

"I ENTRUST YOU WITH MY DAUGHTER FOR ONE NIGHT AND THIS IS THE RESULT!"

"Ghira." My Mom said, laying her hand on his arm, trying to console him. He continued to ignore her and glare at Sun, who seemed to have lost his ability to speak.

"WELL," Dad yelled, "WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO SAY FOR YOURSELF?!"

"I...um...I..." Sun spluttered. I cut in.

"DAD STOP IT!" I yelled at him, slamming my own fist on the table. He turned his glare on me. I didn't flinch.

"BLAKE, HOW CAN YOU DEFEND HIM? HE'S A-"

"Kind, Caring, and Trustworthy person!" I interrupted him, loudly. "Firstly, last night...nothing happened, it wasn't what it looked like. And secondly, I was the one who did that. I was feeling vulnerable and I needed Sun there. If you're going to mad at anyone, let it be me!" Dad seemed at a loss for words. Then he got to his feet and stormed from the room. Mom got up too. She shot Sun and me an apologetic look before following my father. Sun and I just sat there in silence. I was breathing rather heavily, he just sat and stared at me in awe. I had never shouted at my father before.

"I...um...Blake...thanks." He said. I just nodded, I couldn't speak. Then, I got up and walked out of the dining room and out onto the balcony. I stood there for a moment, staring out over Menagerie. Then I sank to my knees and burst into tears.
