Chapter 8: The Hound Holds Raven's Life

After Sebastian's escape from the help of Raven and Ciel Claude was in ranged he knew his master would complain that Claude didn't stop them and when he saw Alois

he gave Claude the same look that said you messed up fix it so Claude went to the estate later that night watching to see if anything could show the fire demon that he is boss then he heard growling coming from behind him he froze then slowly turned around to see Raven's fire hound Claude knew about them and he gave an evil smile he hit the hound knocking it out cold

then he took back to the Trancy estate Alois was overjoyed about the animal he now had a plan

"get the chain and chain it in that empty guest room" Alois ordered

so Claude bowed his head and dragged the dog up to the room and chained it

the next morning like every other morning Sebastian awoke Ciel and they ate breakfast

"where's Raven she usually eats with us," Ciel asked

"Oh I didn't wake her she was tired and I thought she could use the sleep I was going to wake her a bit later" Sebastian admitted

"oh that's fine I was just wondering," Ciel said

so after breakfast, Sebastian walked up the stairs and to Raven's door he gently knocked but no answer usually if she wasn't woken up she would wake up by herself

but Sebastian thought she was just really tired so he knocked again no answer so Sebastian grabbed the doorknob he was a bit worry he just thought Raven was going

be sitting on her bed smiling asking why he was so worried and that she just hadn't heard him but when he opened the door Raven was still laying in bed when he notices

she wasn't even moving Sebastian calmly and slowly walked towards her he touched her arm trying to shake the girl awake but to no avail then Sebastian notice that

Raven's arm was ice cold her whole body was like ice now Sebastian was worried he started to violently shake Raven but she didn't wake up then his mind clicked back to the book he read about the fire demons then he notice the fire hound wasn't laying on the bed like always so Sebastian looked all over the place still no sign of it and Raven

seemed to be getting worse Raven was sick really sick she was barely conscious she was so weak even if Raven was awake she couldn't move so Sebastian ran straight to his

master and told him what had happened this made Ciel jump out of his chair and ran to his little sister's room yes Ciel dealt with Raven when there was the dream walker but

this shattered him he looked over to Sebastian who had a fair clue on what was happening this had something to do with the fire hound's absence

"what's happening to her?" Ciel asked with worry

Raven was now pale they had seen all the colour in her face just vanish

"it's the hound young master but we need to find it quickly or" Sebastian stopped

not daring to say another word

"how does this have anything to do with the dog and what happens if we don't find the hound tell me now!" Ciel demanded

"young master please remain calm," Sebastian said

"calm how am I supposed to stay calm when my little sister is laying there like that huh?!"

"young master please we need to find that fire hound" Sebastian stated

"why!" Ciel demanded

"young master Raven could die if we don't find it if she gets too weak she could die and neither of us wants that" Sebastian replied calmly

Ciel went silent this was breaking him he already lost his parents he lost his sister for a while and now she's back and now he might lose her again

but instead of saying anything he left the room without a word Sebastian thought it would be better to do this himself he didn't want to annoy Ciel he could see how much

he cared for Raven and not even Sebastian could deny that he very much cared for Raven to she grew on him in a way and now Sebastian was filled with rage for someone tried to hurt her then a foul smell lingered in the room it smelled like a demon

"Claude!" he yelled

he knew the only demon around was Claude and cause Raven and Ciel saved him he knew Claude would hold a grudge Sebastian ran to the Trancy estate at the speed of light

and barged into the manor

"ugh, Michaelis what do you want?" Claude groaned

"the hell hound it's affecting Raven give it back!" Sebastian growled

"I couldn't care if the dog weakens her" Claude grinned

then Sebastian threw Claude across the room and into a wall he was just so filled with rage than when Claude was down from the throw he just kept hitting him

then he heard the hound whimpering she missed Raven so Sebastian ran in the room where the noise was coming from and Sebastian saw the dog he knew that the dog wanted Raven cause the dog was usually quite Sebastian broke the chains that bounded the hound and ran out of the estate with the hound (who knew Sebastian would save and warm up to a dog:) )

*back at the Phantomhive estate*

Ciel went back into Raven's room now all the servants were they Raven was so much worse she was dying she was going to die if her loyal hound was back then Sebastian

ran in with the dog her hound jumped on the bed and licked Raven's face than Raven suddenly was getting better she was fine now but she wasn't going to wake up just yet then Ciel grabbed Sebastian and dragged him out into his study

"how was the hound the problem?" Ciel asked

"okay in the book I read a fire demon can live by themselves and can't die but when their loyal fire hounds show up the demons life is in the guardian's hands so if Venus isn't around Raven like far away from her the demons can grow weak and most likely die" Sebastian explained

Ciel gave a relieved sigh he wasn't going to lose his only family so they night he decided to spend the night with Raven even if she wasn't awake he stayed with her he wanted to be near her and feel her warm touch he almost lost her but now he just wanted nothing more than to be near her what could Ciel say he loved his sister

even when they were younger Ciel wanted nothing more than to protect her and hug her when she was upset it was that kind of bond that they had and to be honest it was pretty cute Ciel placed a sweet kiss on Raven's head then went to sleep and for once a smile graced Ciel's lips only his little sister could bring out a smile from him even their parents found that cute.

(so for all those who don't know Venus is Raven's loyal fire hound but who knew Sebastian would actually like a dog/hound enough to save it and yes it was for Raven's sake cause he is fond of her but still Sebastian does like Venus)
