• Book that he would like to read based on his interests
For your brother:

For your sister:
• Candles
• Lotions
• Gift card to Forever 21
• Shoes (lots of them)
• Nail polish
• Sephora Gift card

For your friend (Girl):
SAME THING FOR SISTER
For your friend (Guy):
SAME THING FOR BROTHER
Except when it comes to your friends, make it more original. Throw in an inside joke or something or maybe a framed picture of them. Try to make it more meaningful as well.
