A/N: It's finally here my children!!!

*DAY AFTER LAST CHAPTER*

*Ruby's POV*

I woke up, looking at my phone instinctively. Someone text me.

Rudy: Hey dude I heard about your mom. I'm really sorry. Can't believe Billie Joe is your dad! Call me when you can. I hope you're okayyy

I smiled, getting out of bed. I'll text him later. I shivered at the contact of cold wood on my warm feet. It was about 6:30 in the morning, Tyler would still be asleep.

I tip toed into his room, closing his door behind me. I walked over to the other side of his bed and laid down, kissing him. He stirred and his eyes slowly fluttered open. He looked directly at me and smiled.

"Good morning beautiful." he cooed, his voice raspy from sleep. I blushed, hugging him.

"Good morning babe." I said, closing my eyes again, hearing his heart beat.

*AFTER SCHOOL*

*Ruby's POV*

School was okay. Nova sat with me and Tyler again for lunch and we exchanged numbers. Tyler and I decided to ride the bus home and it pulled beside the driveway. Tyler took my hand and we headed to the front door. Right before we approached it, it opened. Billie was standing with duffle bags and a guitar on his back. I looked at him in confusion.

"Hey kiddos."

"What's this dad?" I asked.

"The tour's still going on Ruby."

Duh. I completely forgot. I nodded. "Oh....yeah."

"Get packing!" he gestured to us both.

"I.....didn't think cause school and-"

"Tutoring. Online classes. Now get your asses ready, we're gonna miss the plane."

Tyler and I both ran upstairs to our rooms. Shit I've got a lot to pack. I looked around to see my red Fender missing. I screamed. Tyler and Billie both ran in my room in full panick. I stared at them in horror.

"Where the hELL IS MY GUITAR!"

"Kid calm down! I've got it in the van!"

I breathed a sigh and nodded. "Sorry, I'm sorry. Just, hard to think-"

"Some girl keeps being an ass to her." Tyler interupted.

Billie turned to me with worry. "Was this girl really hurting you?"

"Well, like, not exactly, she's just like mean and annoying..." i said, looking down at the floor. To be honest, stuff got to me easily and yes, I was a bit hurt. But I could handle myself.

"She hurts you again you come straight to me kid. I don't ever want you to be hurt."

"Well you should've thought about that before you left me and mom." I said, my voice raising a little higher. Tyler looked shocked. Billie looked at me with a mixture of anger and sadness in his eyes.

"Get packed." he said firmly and left the room. I burst into tears, falling to the floor.

Tyler ran to me, hugging me. "Hey, babe, Ruby calm down."

"I should've have said that Tyler. I should've have said anything." I pushed him. "YOU should've have said anything. If I need help defending myself over some pink perfect prick then I'll fucking ask." I got up and brushed myself off, continuing to pack.

"Ruby-"

"You heard what my dad said, get packed." I didn't look at him. I put my Doctor Who shirt in my suitcase and slammed it shut, zipping it.
