I looked at shawn and he looked filled with emotions.

Lauren walks up to me and holds out here hand for me to shake.

"Its so nice to meet a friend of shawns"

"Same here"

Shawn walks up behind me and puts his had on my back.

"So lauren what brings you here"

She looks down from shawn and at me. "Can I speak to you in private shawn"

She turns and walks over to the kitchen and shawn follows with a little hesitation.

I sit back onto the couch almost hyperventilating. Why is lauren here and what does she need talk in private.

I try to be as quiet as I can be, trying to here the conversation.

Shawn I just missed you that's all

Lauren im done with you, I finally accepted that you were never the one for me and you being here won't change that.

Well then who's the one for you because after four years it doesn't look like you've changed.

I was shocked how can a person be so damn cruel to such a humble being.
I turn around and look at both of them shawn was facing me while Laurens back was to me.
Shawn looked pissed and red. He looks at me but then quickly back at lauren

Get the fuck out of my house, I want to never see your face again.

She storms off back into the living room where I was and grabs her purse and coat. I look at her and she didn't have a source of remorse in her body, she is truly a cold hearted person. Shawn was by the door and slammed it once lauren was out of the house.

I just looked at shawn and he did the same. I didn't know what to say and he seemed like he didn't either. he then storms out of the room and up to his bedroom. I want to go talk to him but what can I say. In my thoughts I get cut off by the timer going off on the over for the muffins. I started to think about how everything went down within a twenty-five minute time span.
When I take the muffins out I decided to go talk to him.

I Walk up the stairs going over what I should say but I can't and its to late because I'm already by his door.

I twist the door knob and open up the door to see shawn sitting on the side of the bed.
I walk over to him and sit beside him not saying anything just giving him the renserence that I'm there.

Listen shawn, you don't have to say anything right know but just hear me out. Lauren was so wrong for what she did and of course we all know that but what I was always told was that love is funny like that, we have to go through some shitty things just to find our true love and I believe its out there. Lauren had no right to come here and talk the way she did but sometimes we need that to happen because we need to remember how cruel the person is.
You can totally disagree with me right now but just know I'm here right now because I care about you.

I felt good about what I said and I'm happy shawn knows how I feel about it all.
We sit there still in the silence and I thought that maybe shawn just wanted to be alone so I get up and started walking to the door until I feel him grab my wrist.

Stay...please.

I come to sit back down and shawn wraps his arms around me and were both just rocking back and fourth.
