"It's just a typical salt and burn, Sammy. I've got it. See ya in 3 days!"

The last words Dean Winchester said to his brother flash through his head as he faced certain death. What had appeared to be a civil war ghost haunting, was in actuality a trap set for Dean. He stared down a horde of demons, who had possessed a large portion of the town.

Dean only had the small knife that Ruby gave him and a shotgun filled with salt rounds. He didn't even have time to call his brother and tell him that he loved him, a sentiment that he usually wouldn't let himself voice. The mass of people were closing in on him in the tiny gas station that he had fled to. A man stepped out of the crowd and approached the door.

"Dean Winchester! The King only wishes to speak with you, we will not cause you harm if you come willingly." He shouted in the door.

"Yeah, and I'm secretly the fucking tooth fairy!" Dean shouted back and followed it with a shot that sent the demon reeling backwards. It didn't put him out of the game, unfortunately, and he quickly led a charge into the station.

Dean was captured, but not before he killed as many demons as he could and not until he was within an inch of life. He was brought before Crowley, King of Hell.

"Hello, squirrel. Looks like you got into quite the tuffle with my recruits, how many was it that you killed...? 70? 100? Oh, well, no matter." Crowley sat down in his chair and leaned against the desk. "I'm sure you're wondering why I brought you here today..."

"What I'm actually wondering is how many ways I could kill you and which one would be the most painful. Any insight?" Dean growls from between his teeth as the demons who dragged him into the office forced him down to his knees.

"Tsk, tsk, Dean. That is no way to treat the king of hell, which is your future residence." Crowley smirked at the beaten man in front of him. Before Dean could come up with a response, there was a flutter of wings behind him.

"Dean." There was never a voice that Dean was more happy to hear than that rough growl of Cas'.

"Well, now it's a party!" Crowley beamed at Cas before he snapped his fingers and the demons grabbed the angel. With a quick flick of his wrist, Cas destroyed the demons.

"Crowley, this has gone on long enough. You will no longer attempt to speak to Dean, or else I will take all that you are and turn it into nothing. No one will remember you, no one will know that a demon called Crowley ever existed. Do you understand me?" Cas growled at the king, his wings flaring in the shadows behind him.

Dean whistled softly, impressed. He looked to Crowley to see what he would do.

He was laughing, the bastard!

"Oh, Castiel! Buddy-boy, you do not understand a single thing do you?" Crowley crowed at Cas, delighted in the confused look he gave him.

"Crowley, what..."

"I only kidnapped Dean-o here, because I knew that you would follow him. how did I know that? Because you two bumbling idiots are obviously in love." Crowley sneered the word.

"I'm only tired of the unbearable tension between you two, and wish for you both to address it. Bye bye, now." With a wave of Crowley's fingers, Dean and Castiel found themselves in a motel room.

"What the hell?!" Dean shouted, struggling to his feet. "What does that jumped-up prick think he's getting at?!"

Cas stepped up to Dean's side, muttering quietly reassuring words as he lifted his fingers to his forehead. With a thought, all of Dean's injuries were healed.

"Hey... thanks, Cas." Dean sighed, sure that he would never figure out what the king of hell had meant. He grabbed onto Cas's coat sleeves.

Dean turned his head to find that Cas was a mere inch away from Dean. Dean's eyes slid down to Cas' lips, which led Cas to slip his tongue out and lick them.

At that moment, Crowley appeared in the room with them. He shoved Dean the necessary distance to get him to crush his lips to Cas'. He watched as Dean wrapped his arms around Cas to stop himself from falling, watched as surprised green eyes met shocked blue. He blinked out of the room to the sound of Dean's cursing.

"Damn it, Crowley! I'm gonna gank you and throw pieces of you in the ocean!" Dean screamed into the night air.

Dean grabbed Cas' hand and walked out into the parking lot, seeing his baby parked on the other side. He headed towards the room he was sure Sam as in, dragging Cas behind him.

Dean didn't look back, otherwise he would have seen how Cas' other hand came up and brushed along his lips that had been pressed to Dean's a moment ago. He smiled softly, and rushed to follow Dean, understanding what Crowley had meant, even if Dean didn't.
