Music to my ears (Mint Choco x Reader)

(No ones POV)

You cluched the ticket in your hand. In just a few minutes you were going to see your crush in concert, you could feel stomach churn from excitment.

"I get that he's been your crush since high school but why did you have to drag me along to his concert?" Ace (Rockstar cookie) asked. "Because i had no one else to bring!" You replied.

(Flashback to a week ago)

"Congratulations! You have just won two tickets to see Malcom Carter (Mint Choco) live at (insert random address)!"

You covered your free hand with your mouth. You had entered in a sweepstakes to see your crush in concert about a month ago, and today you had gotten a call saying you won. "Th-Thank you!" You managed to say through your excitment and disbelief. "When will my tickets be here?"

"At 5 days maximum!"

"Ok! Thank you again!" The person on the other line replied with a quick you're welcome before hanging up. You fell back on your back, phone in your hand, squealing. You soon sat up, calling your best friend Ace. Unsurpisingly, he picked up. "Yo what's up?" He asked, buttons being pressed could be heard. 'He must be on his Xbox' You thought.

"Guess who i got tickets to see!" You said in a singsongy voice. "(Your favorite artist/band)?" "Nope!" "Who then- DAMN CAMPERS!" Ignoring his quick outburst at his game, you replied with a squeal. "MALCOM CARTER!" You could hear his phone being dropped. He quickly picked it back up "JEEZ (Y/N) no need to scream! Also, you mean THAT Malcom Carter? As in. The guy you crushed on back in high school?"

"Yep! I got two tickets and you're coming with me! It's next week and its going to be at (insert random address)!" You hung up after that, leaving Ace to groan. As he knew he wasn't getting out of this.

(Back to the present)

You two took your seats. It wasn't front seats but you could still see Malcom perfectly. (and if you crossed your fingers hard enough, maybe he would see you too!) You placed your hands on your (F/C) colored (dress/suit) as the concert started.

Malcom came out with his prized violin and took a seat in the middle of the stage, and before you knew it, the music started. Although you weren't the biggest fan of classical music, something about Malcom's music practically hypnotized you. You couldn't even hear Ace's soft snoring next to you.

After his song, he opened his eyes, looking out into his audience. The audience clapped (along with you of course). His eyes soon landed on you and Ace, you were currently quietly scolding Ace for falling asleep after he had suddenly woken up due to the clapping.

(Timeskip to after the concert)

Malcom stood outside of the room as talked with some of the people who were at the concert, answering questions and signing anything they asked him to. "I still can't believe you fell asleep twice! TWICE!" He lifted his head up at the (Feminine/Masculine) voice. He then noticed you and Ace.

"Pardon me dear people, there is something i need to do" Malcom said. The people he was talking to stood out of his way and he walked towards you and Ace. "(Y/N)? Ace?" He asked as he made his way towards you two. Ace looked up at him and you turned around.

"It's been ages since i've seen you! How have you been?" Ace was the first to reply, as you were blushing like mad. "Hey man! I've been great, never thought a nerd like you could hit the big stage!" Ace teased. Malcom simply chuckled.

After some chatting between them, Malcom noticed you haven't spoken. "Oh! Where are my manners? I almost forgot to ask how you were, (Y/N)!" You coughed, realizing Malcom was now speaking to you "Oh uh yeah, things have been going f-fine." You simply said, turning your head so he wouldn't notice your blush. Unfortunatly, he did.

"Something wrong (Y/N)?" He asked, you shook your head. "(She/He) just has a crush on you and is too afraid to tell you." Ace told him. You turned to Ace, if looks could kill, Ace would be so dead. "I hate you" You said coldly to Ace. Malcom chuckled as he grabbed your chin, pointing your face towards him.

"And how long have you had a crush on me exactly, (Y/N)?" You gulped. "Uh s-since high school..." You trailed off. He smirked. After a few minutes of awkward staring and blushing, Ace got impatient.

"Oh for god's sake!" Ace put his hands on the backs of your heads and made you kiss. Your eyes widened and Ace retracted his hands and smirked. You and Malcom's eyes both closed as you melted into the kiss.

"Now if you'll excuse me, im going to go get a soda." Ace said as he left you two alone to kiss.

HOO-WEE WRITERS BLOCK GAVE ME A HARD TIME THIS CHAPTER BUT I MANAGED TO MAKE IT! Thank you all for being patient with me! I know i don't upload as much as i would like to but writers block has been kicking my ass and my lack of motivation hasn't been helping much either. Now if you'll excuse me, its one in the morning and i need sleep.
