Vacation in Hawaii: Chapter 6

~Greyson's POV~

"I'm leaving next week (July)." I said and she looked at me with a shocked face, and I completely understand.

She then got up and placed her guitar on the ground and stormed out of her room without saying a word to me. I followed behind her, as she made her way downstairs. She was pacing back and forth in the living room, she was pacing back and forth and was running her hands through her hair. I then sighed and stepping infront of her and held her by her shoulders and used my left hand to lift her chin to look up at me.

"Alice. Calm down ok." I said trying to calm her down.

"HOW CAN I-" I cut her off by putting my left index finger (left hand) on her mouth.

"-Let me finish. I'll talk to my manager and ask her if I can stay longer. I'll stay with you until you start school again and then I can go back and keep on working." I said and she sighed and then nodded in response. "Good." I said and kissed her on her forehead.

"I wanna show you something." she said and grabbed my hand dragging me through the kitchen to her backyard.

I saw that she had a big tree and a little tree house near the top. She started climbing ur to the top, I started climbing up and got inside. When I got inside I saw a little tea set in the middle and little princess costums in a corner of the tree house. I also saw a little balcany that kinda over looked the city, I saw Alice sitting there her legs hanging at the edge then I sat down next to her taking in the view.

"When I was younger my cousins and I used to come up here and play tea parties and dress up, every Saturday they came over. We used water as fake tea and ate little cookies that my mom used to buy for us. Then one day they didn't come, it was also once and a while then it turned into once a month and then it turned into never again." she said I looked at her and she started laughing a little trying to hide the pain. "The saddest part out of all of this is that when I saw them last summer, when they came down to visit." she paused and we looked at each other. "I didn't feel one bit of happiness when I saw them." she said and turned her head back to the view.

"Well, can I tell you something." I said and she looked at me. "When I found out about me becoming famous and moving to LA and all of that stuff." I paused and tried to gather all of my thoughts.

"You were afraid. You were afraid of leaving your family, your friends, your life back at where you were born and raised." she said and that's exactly how I felt. "I went through that once. When I was in third grade, my parents wanted to move to Vegas and I really didn't wanna leave. I mean I was young and I really loved my life here with my family and friends and I really didn't wanna say good-bye just yet. I had so much here that I still wanted to do and it felt like my life here wasn't finished." she said and I know what she's talking about.

~Alice's POV~

After our little time in the tree house, Greyson went out to go out and do stuff, he said that he'd be back by six and told me to wear something nice. I was wondering what he was talking about and figured he was taking me out on a date.

I was sitting on the couch in the living room watching tv, I wasn't really watching it since I watched it already. I looked at the time and it was already 5 pm. So I decided to get up and walk upstairs to my room to change. When I walked over to my closet and looked at all of my dresses, most of them were floral considering I loved floral but then I saw the most perfect dress. It was red and had lace at the bottom. I put it down on my bed and got black flats that matched my dress perfectly. I went into my bathroom and put on a lite make up to look natural. Then I curled the ends of my and looked at myself and was good with myself.

I walked into my bedroom and walked over to my bed and picked up my dress. I quickly changed into my dress and put on my flats. I then heard music coming from my backyard, and I walked over to my window and saw Greyson standing there with a boquet of blood red roses, he was wearing a black tux and a tie. I saw him looking up at me and he signaled me to come downstairs. I gladly made my way through the kitchen to my backyard. When I got outside, I saw that he put Christmas lights up and had little candles set up on the porch.

"You really didn't have to do this you know." I said as I saw Greyson.

"I know but I wanted to. Plus isn't this an amazing first date." he said as he walked over to me. "Plus, doesn't every girl want a rememberal first date. Oh, and these are for you." he said and handed me the bouquet of roses. I sniffed them and smiled up at him. "Come on, I don't want dinner to get cold." he said and look my hand and walked me over to a table set for two.

"Greyson, this is beautiful." I said and I sat down. He grabbed the roses and put it down on a table next to us. Then sat down across from me.

"Well not as beautiful as you." he said and I smiled back at him.

We ate dinner while looking up at the stars. I heard All of Me by John Legend playing and looked at Greyson and saw him smiling at me. I stood up and walked over to him, and held my hand out for him to take. He gave me a weird look like 'what are you doing?' to me.

"Can I have this dance?" I asked and he smirked back at me.

"Alice, just to let you know. I don't know how to dance." he said and I walked over to the grass and I put his hands on my hips and my arms around his neck. We started dancing and we looked at each other and I felt that we were the only ones in the world, and felt happy and at ease.

"Greyson. How could you fall for a girl who's an emotional wreak. Who's just not perfect for you, who has so many problems in life that-that-that could give you head aces. Greyson, you are so perfect. You have an easy life, you can have almost any girl in the world. I don't know why you would choose me." I said and then he kissed me to shut me up. He pulled away and I looked up at him and looked into his deep dark brown eyes.

"Alice. I don't care how much problems you have in your life. I don't care if you give me head aces. I am not perfect, I do not have an easy life, I can probably get almost girl in the world, but everything comes down to this, I will always want you and only you."
