Wednesday morning I woke to my parents and Justin singing happy birthday with a cupcake.

I'm 18 now.

I smiled and blew out the candle.

"Thank you." I hugged them.

"Sweetie what do you want for breakfast?" My mother asked.

"I'm okay mom I don't really like eating breakfast." I lied, smiling at her.

She doesn't know I love breakfast or the fact that Zac would make my favorite pancakes for my birthday.

"Are you sure?" She kissed my head.

"Yes, thank you though. I'm going to get ready for school." I smiled urging them out my room.

Justin hasn't really tried to talk to me since Ryder picked me up last Thursday. Honestly I don't know when he's leaving but he's acting weird and I'm not sure what's going on with him.

Ryder has been pretty distant since he brought me home Friday afternoon. He had his hand on my thigh the whole ride home and kissed me hard before I went into my house and since then he hasn't texted me or anything.

Boys are so weird.

Justin wished me another happy birthday as I walked out his car toward the school.

My outfit was different then what I normally wear.

I have a nice maroon crop top with ripped black jeans and some black heels.

My mom did my hair and I actually did my make up.

I had natural eyeshadow, winged eyeliner with a nice layer of mascara. I also had maroon matte lipstick on.

I felt sexy.  For once by myself I feel sexy.

As I walked into the building guys were actually paying attention to me... I didn't care though....

All I cared about was seeing Ryder.

And when I finally saw him my heart dropped.

Kayla was kissing his neck while he was talking to his boy Adrian.

I wanted to turn around and leave but I decided to not be a little bitch anymore.

"Damn Jaci! You look hot as hell baby." This guy Sammy said after he whistled at me.  Ew.

But it caught Ryder's attention.

He looked right at me and his eyes grew big.

My friend Aaron walked up to me "hey Jaci, happy birthday. You look nice." He shyly smiled and was about to walk away when I hugged him.

"Thank you Aaron it means a lot.  How've you been?" I smiled.

"I've been good, sorry I haven't been around lately." He stuttered.

"It's okay, thanks for remembering my birthday-"

"Birthday?" Ryder interrupted me.

"Yeah, Im 18 now." I didn't look at him but kept my eyes on Aaron.

"I'll see you later Jaci." Aaron nervously walked away.

"Thanks again Aaron." I smiled at him.

"Hey." Ryder whispered in my ear.

"Hi." I was about to walk away from him when he grabbed my hand and pulled me close to him.

Everyone was looking at us.
