Steve and i were walking around the Helecarrier, getting to know around the place while getting to know each other. "Is that your real hair colour?" Steve asked pointing to my head. "Sure is." I quickly let my hair down, wrapping the hair tie on my wrist. I shook my head a bit, letting my red hair down past my shoulder blades and around my waist. Also letting my fringe on my forehead. "What's your favourite colour?" I asked Steve, "Well it's kind of obvious. Blue, white and red." Steve smiled at me. "Haha right." I smiled happily at him. "How about you?" He asked. "Mine would be electric blue!" I smiled cheerly. We walked passed a science lab and i noticed that Tony and Bruce were in there. Bruce and i haven't fully introduced each other yet. "Look, its Tony." I said. Steve's fave turned to look and we saw Tony touching Bruce with something like a screwdriver giving him a shock. "Hey!" Steve yelled walking into the lab. "Are you nuts?" He asked as i also stepped into the lab. "You really have got a lid on it, haven't you? What's your secret? Mellow jazz? Bongo drums? Huge bag of weed?" Tony asked causing me to snort, trying go hold in my laugh. "Is everything a joke to you?" Steve asked being serious. "Funny things are." Tony replied. I walked up to Bruce to formally introduce myself. "Hi, i'm Emi." I said sticking out my hand, "Brucr Banner, you can call me Bruce. Pleasure to meet you." He said shaking my hand. "Please's all mine." I replied smiling warmly at him while taking my hand back. "Threatening the safety of everyone on this ship isn't funny. No offense, doctor." I heard Steve's voice say. "No, it..it's alright. I wouldn't have come aboard if I couldn't handle pointy things." Bruce replied gesturing to the, what i like to call, screwdriver. "You're tiptoeing, big man. You need to strut." Tony said, walking backwards and pointing at Bruce. "And you need to focus on the problem, Mr. Stark." Steve said sternly. "You think I'm not? Why did Fury call us and why now? Why not before? What isn't he telling us. I can't do the equation unless I have all the variables." Tony said giving me some interests. "You think Fury's hiding something?" Steve asked while Bruce and i kept quiet. "He's a spy. Captain, he's the spy. His secrets have secrets." Tony said giving some good simple points. "It's bugging him too, isn't it? Maybe even you Emi." Tony said, "Uh...I just wanna finish my work here and..." Bruce started, "Doctor? Emi?" All i did was shake my head a no. "'A warm light for all mankind to share', Loki's jab at Fury about the cube." Bruce said. "I heard it." Steve stated. "Well, I think that was meant for you." Bruce pointed at Tony, Tony handed a packet of blueberries to him and Bruce grabbed a handful, "Even if Barton didn't post that all over the news." Bruce continued. The Stark Tower? That big ugly...building in New York?" Tony then gave Steve a look. "It's powered by Stark Reactors, self sustaining energy source. That building will run itself for what, a year?" Tony stepped towards me handing me a few blueberries, "That's just the prototype. I'm kind of the only name in clean energy right now." Tony said as i said a quiet thank you. "So why didn't SHIELD bring him in on the Tesseract project? I mean, What are they doing in the energy business in the first place?" Bruce asked. " I should probably look into that once my decryption programme finishes breaking into all of SHIELD's secure files." I frowned, "What?" "I'm sorry, did you say...?" Steve and i said at the same time. "Jarvis has been running it since I hit the bridge. In a few hours we'll know every dirty secret SHIELD has ever tried to hide." Tony smirked while handing Steve the bag full of blueberries, "Blueberry?" He asked. "Yet you're confused about why they didn't want you around?" Steve replied. "An intelligence organization that fears intelligence? Historically not possible." Tony said back. "I think Loki's trying to wind us up. This is a man who means to start a war, and if don't stay focused, he'll succeed. We have orders, we should follow them." Steve said to all of us. "Following is not really my style." Tony said back. "And you're all about style, aren't you?" Steve smirked a bit. "Of the people in this room, which one is; a) wearing a spangly outfit, and b) not of use?" I tilted my head in sort of confusion. "Steve, tell me none of this smells a little funky to you?" Bruce piped up. "Just find the cube." Steve said quite angrily. "Come on." He said grabbing my arm and we walked out if the lab. "Where are we going?" I asked trying to keep up with him. "Research without technology." He simply replied.
