"Tae, I just don't understand." Hoseok said, while his hand ran through the younger one's soft hair in calming gesture. Taehyung's head was placed on the other's lap and his eyes were closed. He could feel how the long fingers were playing with his hair and the feeling was so calming and refreshing, causing him to forget where he was or what was he talking, "Why don't you just end it? Why don't you say goodbye to him like you did before? He hurt you so many times, he don't deserve you, in fact he never deserved you."

"It wasn't that hard, right?" Taehyung though. One simple goodbye and that was everything? Actually was harder than just a "goodbye and they both knew it. Seokjin was unstoppable and unpredictable, he had the power and the craziness to destroy a whole building to "save" his love. Just the thought of it made his body shake in sudden fear, tears filling his red eyes. He felt scared, every breath seemed like the last and he hated the feeling. All he wanted was to feel loved in Seokjin presence, to feel safe, to find comfort and tranquility in the other's hands. But this was impossible.

Because everything he did, every step and every choice were all huge mistakes. Breaking up with Hoseok, made up with Seokjin, leaving the one he truly loved and appreciated because of small harmless lie. It was a mistake. And now his bad decisions were turning against him, they were haunting him, running after him, they didn't let him breathe, pulling the forces out of his body. And it was his fault.

"It's not that easy Hoseok." Taehyung then replied raising his head and standing upright. "We're not in a sweet and caring relationship like you and Jeongguk. It's overloading, it's tiring and filled with fear. I feel a huge load on my shoulders, I make a mistake after a mistake, I'm scared of him and that's why i can't escape. That's why I can't let it go. Because he might come after me, because he's like a poison that can't stop until it destroy all the systems in the body. Because... "

Tears were falling from his eyes, soaking his puffy cheeks. He felt weak, helpless, he wanted to close his eyes and wake up the next day, realizing that it was all a dream. Hoseok shortened the distance between them even more and wrapped his arms around his trembling body in a firm embrace. Gentle, encouraging words came out of his lips, a faint whisper. His long fingers stroked the soft blond hair in a soothing gesture, and soft innocent kisses were placed on the boy's ear between the cute words. A few minutes later, Taehyung stepped back from his embrace, his reddened eyes, staring at Hoseok's.

"B-because I still fucking love you. and I-I can't let him to hurt you."

After that, he narrowed the distance between their faces again.

On second.

Two seconds.

Three seconds.

His gaze shifted to Hoseok's thin lips, the memories of those sweet lips, wandering around his neck, strewing his body with small kisses.

Five.

Six.

And, without even contemplating his actions, he connected their lips into a tender kiss.
