will people please just stop saying they will leave?!
Like seriously do a little research and you'll find that people are already trying to stop it and if it goes through the companies can't charge more without saying so publicly so they most likely won't, like 90% sure they won't. So will you all please just calm down and stop panicking.
We are all going to be fine, if you had been around as long as I have on Wattpad, previous accounts, you would know that before 2015, before net neutrality, we were all fine. That is what Ajit wants to go back to!! No heavy handed rules but the previous ones that were working and the irony is that when net neutrality was put in place people fought to stop it, but now that it might be taken away people are shifting themselves over it. If you won't bat an eye when it comes to a dooms day then why over the internet? We will all be fine, people are already taking care of it and people just need to calm down, if need be do some research about the topic and what's going on rather than saying "oh net neutrality is gone now so I'll just leave" no, wattpad most likely won't be affected and again as I stated before, companies have to openly say they are raising the prices, and that will actually reflect on the company and others will see it too. Companies want to look good and appear like the best option, and by raising the prices that will negate that that and contradict what they want. So most likely nothing major will change, yes things will change but it most likely won't affect here so will you all please just calm down..we will be fine, Ajit just wants ti go back to the light handed regulations, before 2015 net neutrality laws were put in place.
And hey, if they dont get through who cares? I dont, but over all we will be fine..do calm down please. People are being irrational and not thinking right. Take a deep breathes and realise we are going to be okay..
