In the Heart of an Excorcist

Always walking

Allen sat on the train and watched the landscape rush by. It was snowing again. Allen like the snow. It turned the browns and grays to pure white. Snow made the world look clean and pure. Snow hid the imperfections and impurities for a short amount of time. The moon was out, and the cold beautiful stars sparkled above.

Allen and his friends where on their way to the last reported location of the second ark to find Lavi and Bookman. The ark was believed to be somewhere over Paris and the exorcists were hoping that Allen would be able to open a gate into it. 

Allen was wide awake and stressed. His friends though, were all either asleep or half asleep. Him and Lenalee sat across from Jonney, Rin, and Kanda. Lenalee had been trying to stay awake but was failing. A few seconds later she nodded off and laid her head on Allen's shoulder. He blushed. Him and Lenalee had gotten closer over the past few days but Allen still had not got up the nerve to tell her he liked her.

"Hey kid." Nea said inside his mind.

What? Allen thought back. The 14th had started to talk to him and give him dating tips. Usually at the wrong times. He would always bring up the most embarrassing things when Allen was talking to his crush. Allen would start blushing and everything would get awkward. Allen appreciated his mind mate waiting till she was asleep to start talking. He also appreciated that he hadn't started taking over his body since the incident a week ago.

"Kiss her."

When she's asleep?

"No that would be creepy."

No way really!

"Soon. If this keeps up your going to lose her."

Allen rolled his eyes. He wished that the Noah would give him useful information instead of harsing him about how much he sucked when it came to women.

Who are you?

"I'm Nea. Its nice to meet you."

Allen groaned. He had discovered the Noah's sarcastic annoying side.

I mean who where you before.

"I was still Nea."

Your so annoying! What is your relationship with the other Noah? What is your relationship with Mana? Why did you try to kill him? How did you die?

Allen felt Nea's consciousness fade as he retreated deeper into Allen's mind to escape Allen's questions. Apparently the Noah was still closed off.

Hey Nea, how am I going to get into the new ark? Nea was silent for a while. Nea? Please I need your help.

"You will figure it out."

How?

"You will just figure it out."

I need more than that.

"You will keep trying until you figure it out. I have learned that no matter what, you never give up and just keep walking."

Allen was shocked by Nea's words, but he was right. Allen would always keep walking until he saved his friends and beat the Earl. And even after that he would keep walking.
