Chapter 62 It was all pretend

Ross (POV)

Its been two weeks since Katie and I broke up, we are leaving tomorrow for our tour. Rydel left, it was really sad, everyone cried. Mom still hasn't got over it yet, quite frankly neither have I. I miss her a lot, but I know she's happy. Also Riker has been checking in on Katie making sure she's all right. He said she's happy, and already moved on, but I haven't. I heard a knock, so I walked over and opened it. Riker walked in and started pacing our shared bedroom. "What's wrong?" I ask. "I'm sorry.." he stops and looks at me. "What?" I ask. "I..I.." he stops. "WHAT?" I start to get frustrated. "Me and Katie are dating." he says officially breaking my heart.

Katie (POV)

Its been two weeks since I broke up with Ross, and I having got over him. I tell people I have but I haven't. I miss his kisses, his body, just him in general. I heard a knock at the door, so I opened it, Riker walked in. "How are you?" he asked just walking in. "Great. I was about to go shopping. Wanna come?" I nicely ask. "Yeah sure. But i have to tell you something Kat." he paces back and forth. "I like you Katie. Id treat you right. I wouldn't hit you. I would come back to LA to visit you on tour. Please. " he begs. "So what are you asking Rik?" I walk towards him. "Us. If there can be an us. " he grabs my cheek. "What about Ross? He'd kill you." I move his hand. "He's already dating someone. " he grabs me again but this time he kisses me, and I kiss back. "So? Will you be mine?" he asks. My heart is racing a million times faster then usual. "Yes." I kiss him again. He smiles into the kiss then leaves. "I'll text you. I have l tell Ross." he shuts the door before I can argue. I guess he has to find out sometime.

Ross (POV)

"Riker? Why would you do this?" I push him against the wall. "You don't treat her the way she should. I will. " he simply walks out, but I grab his shirt. "I hate you Rik. I wish you could die." with that I shove him out of my room and slam the door shut. "Ross?" a Sweet innocent voice speaks through my door. "What Mom?" I lay down on the bed. "Why would you say that to your brother. You don't wish he was dead. " she opens the door. "Yes I do." I put my head into the pillow. "Listen here. You need to stop. Delly's gone, now you wish Riker was gone. Katie changed you. I love her too death but I can't keep seeing you guys shirt eh other. Now either make up with her and Riker or get out of my house. " she walks out. Geez, I guess I'll have to find another place to live, I'm not talking to them.

Riker (POV)

I only acted like I liked Katie, I wanted to get Ross jealous so he goes after her, they are meant for each other. I know Katie doesn't like me either, she just sees Ross in me, but I have to tell her. After getting in a fight with Ross I walked back to Katie's. I just walked in like I always do. "Hey Riker." she said from the couch. "I have to tell you something. Okay I only dated you because I knew Ross would get jealous and go after you. You guys are perfect for each other. Please don't hate me. " I quickly say. "Oh. Well I honestly saw Ross when you kissed me. Your my best friend, I don't want to date you. So I'm breaking up with you. " she smiles. "Oh please don't!" I joke. We laugh and Katie suddenly stops laughing. I look at the door and walk out. "Katie.. we need to talk." I hear before walking out and getting in my car.
