Y/N pov

You look into the mirror and see Joker!!!!!
He grins at you at points a gun to your head and wraps an arm around your waist to keep you still. You throw head backwards and head butt him, he grabs his nose and drops the gun and you kick it away. Opening the door to the bathroom you break into a sprint for the front door, just as you're about halfway down the hall...he shoves you from the side into the nearby wall. You fall to the floor and make an effort to crawl to the door as you still have some fight in you and the constant thought of 'This is NOT how I am going to go down. Not by a clown with lipstick.' He grabs your ankle and drags you back to the bathroom and you fight and kick and scream but he doesn't loosen his grip. Your life flashes before your eyes as he takes a handful of your hair in his fist and holds a gun to your head. The last thing you hear is his laughter and then a shot.

You thought I'd let you die this early in the book?

You run the bath water and throw in some soap to make bubbles. Then hop in the bath after removing your clothes and sit there playing with the bubbles making weird shapes and a beard and a bubble hat on your head and think about your day along with your date with Bruce. You blush 10 thousand shades of red and sink into the water.

*After 10 mins because you can hold you breath that long and not because you've been practicing everyday after suffering from childhood trauma of your father*

You come up to the surface and take a deep breath. You wash up and step out of the tub and grab your towel. You go to your room and put on your favorite cozy pjs and grab your phone and see that you have a couple of messages from Bruce. 

(You/Bruce)
Bruce: Hey, are you ok?
Bruce: Y/N i'm starting to get worried, you haven't texted me back yet 😰
Y/N: Hey Bruce sorry I took forever. Awww you were worried about me?
Bruce: Um...yes because you weren't answering 😊.
Y/N: Well I was taking a bath and I just got out sorry I worried you. 😅
Bruce: It's alright. I did have to apologize to GCPD but, I'm not worried anymore now that I know you're safe.

You blush looking at the text he sent and can't help but think you have a serious blushing problem when it comes to Bruce.

Y/N: Thank you for checking on me but it's getting late i'm gonna head to bed Good Night😘.
Bruce: Goodnight Y/N😘

*END OF CONVERSATION*

You pin up your hair and throw on an oversized shirt and slip into your warm comfy bed. You lay there on you side trying to fall asleep you can't help thinking about Bruce and how a man can be so mysterious but in a way also charming. After a long time laying down and thinking you eventually fall asleep but little did you know he was up all night thinking of you and how you puzzled him, he likes a challenge and he won't stop until he figures you out.
